Emancipator and Lapa return once more to explore and experiment and recruit the services of North Carolina producer / DJ Marley Carroll on the final single ‘Mamba’ from their forthcoming album ‘11th Orbit’. 

A potent dance-floor heater packed with exotic sounds. ‘Mamba’ began life as an in-studio collaboration when Marley was in Portland and took many twists and turns before achieving its final form via remote collaboration.

Based around John Frusciante’s sizzling guitar instrumental “Untitled #6” and featuring a sample of Allyson Krauss’ “Down to the River to Pray,” this remix has a wild and free sound that attempts to capture the feeling of a hot summer day at the river - sunburn, nettle stings and all.
