Locked Concept’s first release of the year comes from Tellus and Uneven, featuring a superb guest appearance from Elusive Elements and a remix by Akuratyde.

The opening and title track, Last Minute, is a true contribution to the autonomic sound—familiar territory for both Tellus and Uneven.

Elusive Elements steps up to join Uneven on Aestivation, keeping things half-time, moody, and deeply rooted in the autonomic style. This beautifully crafted piece builds slowly, leading into an emotive second drop.

Tellus returns alongside Uneven for Tidal Reveries, this time slowing the tempo. While this track differs in BPM from the rest of the EP, it maintains the signature sonics both Tellus and Uneven are known for across their catalogues.

Akuratyde’s remix of Moving On by Tellus closes out the EP. Staying true to the essence of the original, Akuratyde lifts the BPM from 130 to 170 and adds some groovy breaks for good measure.

Tellus and Uneven’s sound and production continue to evolve and expand beyond genre, and it’s unlikely this will be the last time we see these two innovative producers collaborating.

These 2 artists need no introduction and have now joined forces to offer a deep 4 track work of art. Sub Motion starts the EP with his remix of Astral Haze's Forgotten Frequency that introduces futuristic synth stabs over beautiful floating pads and driving rhythms. Next up they collaborate with the sublime sounds of After Party as layers of pads and strings compliment the feverish breaks. It's then Astral Haze's turn to step up to the remix duties taking on Sub Motion's majestic Astral Sunset turning it into a evolving story of chopped apache breaks and morphing analogue synth stabs. The EP ends on the collaborative project of Spacetime Physics where they have saved the best for last as futuristic keys dance around crisp drums and celestial pads to create an hypnotic journey to a far flung space and time. We can't wait to hear these 2 talented artists merge their styles together again in the future.

Locked Concept is a label co-founded by drum and bass artist Lockjaw and close friends. It is a platform to enable creative control and ensure a high quality marriage of visual and auditory art forms.

Locked Concept explores the deeper side of music with a focus on "listening" music over the ability to make one dance. On the visual side of things, the label features local visual artists who focus on a variety of different mediums to convey their feelings about the music featured on the label.
