Penar is a man with several hats, constantly navigating between his swiss crew La Récré, his parisian one Duty Free and his fresh new label Piranha Hips. As if that weren't enough, he now runs a unique place in Paris, Le Café de la Musique, where he can dedicate his love of music in all its forms, from jazz to electronic.
Icing on the cake : his energy is matched only by his kindness, and for all those reasons we're glad to have him to open the season of our dear radio shows.

Number 23 is an enigma. Regarded as lucky and unlucky. Sinister and sacred. Well in this instance it’s breeding pure positivity, and means we are excited to bring you the 23rd edition of our Breathecast, from top Ljubljana selector Izza.

Well-versed in the nuances of the vibrant music scene and culture present in her home town, Izza went from promoter to omnipresent DJ in no time at all, a true credit to her natural talent. Her oblique style and curation transcend the parties she spins at, seductively opening the ears and enrapturing all types of diverse audiences. Her BC mix does not buck this trend, it ebbs and flows through fragmented, bleepy house and old-school tech, giving something for everyone and sewn together with a beautiful neatness.

Marseille's FaF steps into the spotlight with this mix. A DJ with a distinct style, FaF is also the driving force behind Durite Records, a label on the verge of its debut Various Artists compilation.

This mix showcases FaF's talent for bridging genres. Deep, funky grooves intertwine with electronic elements, all woven with a focus on narrative flow. Recurring motifs appear throughout the mix, creating a truly immersive and cohesive listening experience.

Born in Heidelgerg from a German mother and a Marseillan father, young Merlino got the chance to live in London, Berlin and Mannheim where he discovered electronic musics (and how to party). He now lives in Marseille since a few years and the least we can say is that he adopted its sunny way of life: our boy got nicknamed Ricard'eau by the locals and the Velodrome stadium has no secrets for him. Passionate about digging, Merlino can play a long list of different styles but he has a slight kink for German 00s minimal, 90s house, electro... This podcast is a sweet dive into what Merlino has been digging recently, a fresh and sunny selection weaved with gracious skills on the 1200s. Co-founder of the Kinetik Toys crew that glows on Youtube with recently unearthed digs, he also runs parties in Marseille with precious and skilled guests, among them: Sibil, Jorge Escribano, DJ Tree, Ethan McNamara... After spending his early youth in Morocco where he discovered the joy and power of electronic music, he now formed and became a key member of decadance festival, produced EPs highlighted by great figures of our scene on major events such as Houghton, Dimensions or Sunwaves to name a few, and signed the last griffe record, the Paris based label where he currently resides.

Drawing sonic and aesthetic inspirations from early german and detroit raw projects like Basic Channel or Drexciya, but also from more recent work like the excellent CABARET Recordings, Alich delivers in this podcast a true musical intrigue, filled with abstract textures and enchanting rhythms, enfolding us in a vast cosmic realm fully orbiting on the 1200s.

In 2019, our journey began with a simple yet passionate motive: to create a warm & intimate clubbing experience while keeping the dance-floor locked to genre bending dance music, seamlessly combining timeless nostalgia with a modern day twist.

In 2020 we launched a label to push the Locked-In sound, shine a light on emerging artists that are close to our hearts and release authentic music.
