Ease The Pain' is the first EP of a completely new sounding string of releases and will be followed by offerings on Gigolo Records, Kompakt and Hot Creations amongst others. The idea of creating different tracks like these came to me when I was at DC10 at Circoloco this summer dancing in the crowd. The beat of 'Africana' was born at that moment and I also had a clear idea of the mood of the vocal. 'Ease The Pain', on the other hand, has a strong house identity, which I'm well known for, coupled with a current tech house beat.

In-demand producer Flashmob delivers a masterful two-piece assault on his Hot Creations debut, entitled The Lone Brazilian.

The EP opens with the title track, fronting a funk-laden bassline and percussive, driving drums. Tribalistic male and female chants break the track up, adding depth to the unfolding journey. Italian native Fabio Neural teams up with growing Columbian talent DJ Fronter on the Brr Baby Brr EP. Soon to be released on Hot Creations, the three-track release is a contemporary house affair that shows the natural chemistry between the two.

Leading with Brr Baby Brr, a driving kick is soon complemented by whistling hats, before a teasing synth build up gives way to a pummelling bass driven drop. Silver Star comes in next with a reverberating vocal sample that’s underlined by a subtly changing bassline and warm, building pads, before Downtown rounds off the EP with a harder techno tone as punchy lead kicks meld with choppy, non-apologetic keys.

Having produced music since 2010, it was last year that Fabio Neural really caught the ground running with releases on two of modern house music’s leading labels: Relief and Saved. This year has been followed up with Brr Baby Brr, his standout release of 2019 and his first release on Hot Creations. DJ Fronter is one of Columbia’s most prominent artists. Having previously performed for the Resistance party brand his DJ sets speak for themselves, whilst his knack for producing has seen him release on labels like Circus and Nervous.

Since launching in early 2019, Dennis Cruz and Eddy M's MÜSE imprint has quickly seen the pairing curate one of the scenes most impressive rising labels - welcoming the likes of Tube & Berger, Piem and Alan Nieves alongside rising talents including Gruuve and Bizen Lopez, whilst also serving as a key outlet to release their own productions and material. Hot on the heels of Cruz's latest stand-out EP, 'KMA', early-August welcomes the debut split EP offering on the label as both co-founders return alongside one another for the very first time to serve up the twotrack 'Show Me / Five'.

From early breakout hit "Phat Dope Shit" in 2002 to "Heavy Heart", a new collaboration with Skrillex and Fireboy DML, Dice has always been in the headlines. After his debut album "7 Dunham Place" on his own now long-running and well-regarded Desolat in 2008, came the major label follow-up "Underground Sound Suicide" on Ultra Music with guests like Giggs, Just Blaze, and Neneh Cherry, then the agenda-setting and club-focussed house and techno showcase that was "Love Letters" in 2018. 

Add in tens of EPs on Ovum, Minus, Cocoon, to name a few, and his remixes from everyone from Kevin Saunderson to Moby, Black Coffee to Disclosure, Warren G to Basement Jaxx, Loco Dice has always been at the beating heart of the electronic scene. 

His DJ sets, too, always brim with personality, whether in a small underground basement or on an iconic main stage at some of the world's top festivals like EDC Ultra, Tomorrowland and Coachella to name a few, playing to thousands. He has had era-defining residencies at iconic Ibiza super clubs like Circoloco at DC-10 and on the Amnesia Terrace as well at Space Miami. 

His lockdown move has been to unveil En Coleur, a label reserved exclusively for his own music produced at that time. SB Recordings followed. A new label open to all styles of dance music.

Since day one Loco Dice constantly pushes the boundaries of techno and house music production, from his appearance in 2004 PlayStation2 game "Decks & FX" to cooking up his own ideal fusions of hip hop and electronic music with his FKD side project or writing critically acclaimed runway soundtracks for Italian fashion designer Marcelo Burlon during Men’s Fashion Week in Milan for both FW20 and SS20.

Dice's distinctive fashion sense and strong visual aesthetic manifest in his collaborations with Amsterdam fashion label Daily Paper, pro sports hat purveyors New Era and in his own clothing brand Seran Bendecidos. 

All of this and his longevity prove that Loco Dice is undoubtedly an insatiable creative force most interested in the uncharted territory between genres and styles, the elements that link everything together.
