We played this song live a few times as a tribute to Levon Helm following his passing in April 2012.

Neil and our friend Richard Cook talked about recording a version of the song, collaboratively, with some other local musicians.

We went into Keith Angel's Wavelength studio www.wavelengthstudios.co.uk and cut the track live, adding vocals by Rita Payne, Jayne Angel (of Orchestre Ruffanti) and John Caile.

The hard drive containing the track was lost before we could mix or revisit,  so the song as it is presented here is how it went down and sounded  in the room that night.

this is a cover of the song Fat Bottom Girls that I'm performing and transcribing for Hal Leonard so people can have a correct example, and score to learn how to sing and play guitar to many Queen songs.  I am no Freddy Mercury, but I am honored to be able to sing and record these incredible songs and even happier that there will be a vocal score that has all the parts, not just Freddie's lead vocals.
