In times of national demise, speaking historically,
the mulch of crumpled dream and culture is a laboratory,
that breeds outrageous saviours and monsters without warning; 
Cromwell, Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Jeremy Corbyn – 
emerging from a broken world to find a hole they can fill,
cometh the moment; cometh the Mandrill.

This greed and gore emporium is not how life was meant to be,
with franchises and fads reheated from a previous century,
and nothing new, a neutered future on the retro record deck,
that’s stuck and endlessly repeating in a firebombed discotheque. 
Your TV’s in a coma and you can’t get it to wake up.
What you need is a dictatorial baboon in makeup.

Overstated, aggravated and horrifically mutated,
here to see that you’re berated. What’s the last thing you created?
All those logos on your raiment, brand-name badges of enslavement,
drip-fed passive entertainment. Was this your intended statement?
When you have nowhere left to stand you'll have to take one.
If there’s no culture in the land then you must make one. 
Psychopathic, charismatic, I could go on but don’t need to:
as the higher primate it’s my long-awaited fate to lead you.
You have no choice but me, so please do not suggest so.

The light of burning corporations will repaint the sky in grenadine. 
There’ll be billions of banners and Art Nouveau butterfly bombers like this world has never seen before. 
We’ll march on ugliness and stupidity. 
We’ll make loveliness compulsory.

And the roar of our orchestra engines will soar evermore in a glorious annihilating symphony, for the tyranny of beauty is our God-given duty. 
Every child at birth is to be issued with a ukulele, 
given their own flag and granted absolute and utter sovereignty, 
and so long as it’s coloured in nicely and has an old woman on, make their own currency. And we’ll turn every urban address into a dripping Rousseau wilderness, and we’ll keep advancing until there’s nobody not dancing.

Fellow kindness crusaders, Logan & Manley are two best friends that met in the Northern town of Hebden Bridge. Their music is soulful, feel good and celebratory peppered with a pinch of cheeky reggae. Live, they loop a sonic landscape of dynamic vocals, guitars and drums building a force for counter culture truth and good vibrations. 

Terry’s thoughtfully crafted song writing caught the ear of acclaimed producer John Garden (Scissor Sisters/Alison Moyet). The pair recorded their first EP ‘Believe it a Little’ with John at his Late Night Production Studios (released 2017) which received widespread praise.  John deemed them “an extraordinary new talent” and “a real honour to work with” A&R Factory saying, “her voice is a fantastic mix of vulnerability and warmth” and Tony Rigg Ministry of Sound saying, "Singing and making music is their Dharma"   

Since their first gig in 2016 supporting Chris Helme of the Seahorses they have gone on to headline their own UK EP tour and supported Dreadzone on their album tour, Kioko as part of Love Music Hate Racism, My Baby in Berlin as part of their European Tour and the Haggis Horns at their album launch.  They have also become favourites at Cloudspotting Festival, Head for the Hills, Festival 23, Green Gathering, Solfest, Eden Festival, Super Weird Happenings and Hebden Folk Roots Festival. 

Terry Logan and Chris Manley’s artistic journeys have proved to be the perfect apprenticeship for the meeting of musical minds.  

Terry found her love for music at an early age playing the African Drums and teaching herself to sing and play piano. Passing the phase of the shy bedroom singer, she joined forces with Leeds based hip hop band, The Loose Wires, where she honed her vocal acrobatics.  Later, she developed her own soul and blues band where she learnt how to craft original songs from array of standards.   

It was when she travelled back to her roots in Guyana, that she picked up a little guitar called Freedom and began writing songs about the human experience that resonated her true creative purpose. Terry’s super vibes and original voice have seen her sing with the legendary Lee Scratch Perry, Geno Washington and Mr Scruff.  

Chris Manley began to forge his guitar style in traditional classical music. With this foundation, Chris soared into a musical journey spanning genre and the desire to create his hybrid stylistic approach was born. Chris soon became a unique and accomplished performer.   

Chris was driven to take the guitar to challenging musical areas and became the rhythm and lead guitarist for live jungle and breakbeat outfits performing across the UK.
