After some serious studio time, BAD TANGO returns with a fresh 2-track release which takes his sound to a whole new level. The title track INTO THE FRAY is an energetic yet sophisticated affair, with intricate evolving acid leads woven around a driving 16th-note bassline and a bouncy break.

<br>For the second track AT THE EDGE, Bad Tango teams up with friend and guitarist Polymetrics for an altogether mellower excursion. Ambient guitar melodies, lush harmonies and trademark Bad Tango squelch are the order of the day. The kind of tune which conjures up images of sunrise on a beach in Goa.

Yo yo! I'm seriously glad to finally be sharing this track with you, it took an exceptionally long time to write. This is the A-side to my next EP for Broken Robot Records, and has been my end of set track for some time. I really tried to push my knowledge of sound design to the limits during it's making and in the process learned a whole bunch of techniques that i'd simply be lost without.

Best to be played at high volume while the hot summer sun is burning down on lots and lots of naked skin- just because it’s the perfect sound for this situation. One moment the groove only consists of an ultra-fat bass line accompanied by some minimal rhythms, the next moment the whole thing is just exploding, bursting into a multi-dimensional universe of intertwined harmonies, subtle psychoacoustics sparkling in between, cascades of uplifting rhythms… just purely positive catchiness.
