El EP debut de Moo Moonster, Consort of Zeus en Ya Hala Ya Hala, es un trabajo con tintes  Italo disco con estilo, recreando de manera convincente la vibra musculosa de la época. 

En palabras del artista; “Europa, es un recordatorio de que siempre hay luz en medio de la oscuridad. La primera parte de la pista es el proceso de hipnosis para creer en esa luz al final del túnel. En la segunda parte de la pista, terminarás en una parte apoteósica donde la luz brilla intensamente. 

En el momento en que comencé a producir esta pista, estaba escuchando referencias como "Love Is on The Rocks" de Lama y "Bad Passion" de Steel Mind. Quería que los sintetizadores y pads tuvieran un corte clásico, para crear ese sonido Italo actual en el que me siento representado. La voz entrecortada de Claudia (Final Grrl) fue el complemento perfecto para cerrar la pista.

Hera, se produjo en medio de la crisis de Covid, ya estaba recuperado y me sentí cómodo navegando de nuevo por sonidos más oscuros como electro y EBM. Las voces fueron pensadas esta vez desde el inicio de la pista, con mensajes para esos vampiros energéticos que caminan por la tierra. La elección del idioma fue un guiño a una de mis bandas favoritas Liaisons Dangereuses. En esta pista, quería representarme a mí mismo con toda la energía, con un riff de guitarra y una melodía sacada de una película de los 80 donde el protagonista está en problemas ".

En las tareas de remezcla está el innovador de leftfield Autarkic, que trajo su sonido dub, psicodélico, rockero y tecno pantanoso a Europa. El trabajo destacado del productor ha llegado a sellos como Turbo, K7 Records y Malka Tuti, sin mencionar su último álbum muy aclamado ''. Términos y condiciones 'sobre la vida y la muerte de DJ Tennis.

Después de lanzamientos bien recibidos en sellos como Ombra International, Correspondant, ROAM y ME ME ME, el italiano Amarcord ofrece un remix de Europa donde muestra su habilidad para producir pistas dinámicas impulsadas por sintetizadores influenciadas por las peculiaridades cósmicas de los 80.

Santé’s AVOTRE returns for its 58th release with ‘ Trust the Matrix’ EP, two tracks from Mathias Kaden and a remix courtesy of Joey Daniel.

Hailing from Berlin, Kaden has released on an array of respected imprints, notably Freude am Tanzen and Vakant which shaped his early production and DJ career. Following a busy schedule of international touring, the Cocoon Ibiza resident now steps up for his AVOTRE debut.

Lead track ‘ Matrix’ jumps immediately into peak-time pace, a winding bassline laced with jacking and hypnotic melodies. ‘ Trust ’ follows suite and is an unassuming dancefloor destroyer which is already a staple of label boss Santé ’s sets. 

Rotterdam’s Joey Daniel delivers a robust reinterpretation of ‘Matrix’ that rounds off this weighty package. Daniel’s been a mainstay of the Holland house scene having carved his career via his renowned 300MPH parties.
