🎶 De Cimolais a Ert – Papa Boo Loo

✨ This is not a simple album. It begins with two shamanic drum pieces, BPM 176, double kick. But the structure itself is a spell:

    🔺 Triple beat (3/4): opens perception.

    🔹 Trance groove (6/8): frame drums and hand percussion.

    🔸 Powerful cycle (9/8): the door to the spirits.

The drum opens the ceremony, the door swings wide, and the dance begins. From this ritual rhythm, built on Open D tuning, we recreate the magical environment to connect with our ancestors.

🪄 The Mantra

Every track is a fractal reflection of the mantra:
 
O mama baba mama nena mama lehna
O mama baba mama nena mama lehna
O mama baba mama nena mama lehna

🌄 Baba is Ovalda, named after Mount San Osvaldo. She was my putative mother, speaking Ertano, a dialect of Ladino, very old, born in Erto, part of a magical family.

    🌿 Nena is Maddalena, her sister. We loved each other deeply, like son and mother. Tall, beautiful, green shining eyes, dark mountain skin — a woman of class and strength.

    🌙 Lehna is my daughter Lene, who died at age 11 in Milan, taken by pollution.

This album asks the world of spirits to deliver the most beautiful message to them: we never forget.
🏔️ The Place of Erto

Erto lies in Friuli Venezia Giulia, at the crossroads of three regions, yet it stands alone. Tradition says it was founded before the Roman Empire by a tribe of Cimbri women fleeing war. They found a small island in the lake and called it Eretto — “standing.”

    🔮 Refuge of prophetesses.

    🚫 Men were not welcome: violent, greedy, liars.

    🎨 Only artists were accepted: liminal beings, bridges between the realm of the dead and our world, the radio of connection.

🎤 The Production

Even though the mastering was done with Suno, we created the voices in overtuning. The producer sings with the throat technique Khoomei, perfect for this ritual sound. The result vibrates powerfully, like an ancestral call.

❤️ The Legacy

This album carries that heavy, ancient legacy. It tells my granddaughters that magic can be real — not fantasy, but memory. Memory keeps alive the magic of love.

Because at the end of the day, it is always and only a matter of love.

P.S. This work is a bridge: between Erto and America, between past and future, between the world of the living and the spirits.

Diac is a music project from Oaxaca, Mexico, offering a mix between live sets and its own production.
Born in 2018 as a need for an identity going to dark sounds but also melodic, contrasting good and evil, leading to an only combination possible catching people's attention. 
This year he released his first single on 1101 Label (Mex), where he is also editing an EP in November, same as on Veneno (Mex) and later on Side Up Works (Esp).
On this ocassion, Diac navigates from obscure to melodic tunes, driving us till the end with some vocal ones that will make you think in the 80's.

Curated by DJ Braver and Gabriel Ferreira, with impressive artwork by Cuernolobo and second to none mastering by Balam (SXDNS048), the 10th release of the Buenos Aires-based label Maleza delivers the fourth volume of their iconic compilation “En la Superficie”: Featuring ten tracks produced by ten different artists whose sonority expresses the characteristic universe of the Argentinian crew, the release encompasses many of the delicious facets of the high-quality Deep House with shards of Disco, Techno and Leftfield.

The track we chose to review was made with love by young & acclaimed Italian DJ/producer Vicky Montefusco. With praised works varying from originals to collaborations on vital labels such as Side Up Works, Dogs & Vultures, and Nein, this is Vicky’s second appearance on Maleza. His track brought the compilation to a perfect end: A stupor-infused theme that keeps you in a hypnotic state with its trippy combo of atmospheric pads and leads until it explodes in a frenzied rave-like synth outburst, a brief moment in which you will be allowed to deliver your body to random and uncoordinated movements before you go back to your trance mode. From numbness to euphoria and back to numbness, Vicky’s "Dear Melody" is definitely one of the highlights of the VA release.

Adamant es un dj / productor Argentino
situado en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. 
Su carrera musical empieza allá por el 2010 cuando empieza a crear sus primeras producciones y hasta el día de la fecha ha editado varios lanzamientos bajo su otro AKA  Attom, cuyo estilo rondaba el minimal, house y techno. 
Hoy Adamant apunta a un sonido más quebrado y profundo con ritmos de pista bailable. 

Colorada es un dúo de música electrónica experimental formada a principios del 2019. Formada por Jessica Bellomo y Francisco Velz Cernadas. Comenzaron un año antes de su formación oficial, cuando Jessica hacia sus presentaciones como dj y Velz, conectaba su micrófono e improvisaba con vocales. 
Mezclando sus gustos y experiencias en un proyecto que busca energía frenética en la pista de baile. 
Colorada busca en cada presentación LIVE crear una atmósfera totalmente distinta , pero adaptable al marco en el que sucede, mezclando sonidos electrónicos provenientes de sintetizadores + pc, e instrumentos artesanales como bongoes, panderetas, arpas de boca, etc.

Actualmente toca en el dúo “Re Signados” y conforma un dúo instrumental llamado “Ganado” con Igna Perez.
