Whispers in the wires,
soft like vinyl fire.
Something's hummin' deep inside —
a dubby ghost in a house disguise.

I was floatin’ on a four-on-floor,
Velvet night, no need for more.
But then a bassline came unchained —
Dub delay with breaks that rained.

Chords melt down like candle skins,
Hi-hats stutter like whispered sins.
Was it house? Was it bass?
Or riddim hiding in silk and lace?

Something slid beneath the door,
A skankin’ beat I can’t ignore.
Then the tempo snapped in half —
Drum and bass began to laugh…

🎵 We met in the drop, fell into the sway,
A dub in the dark, a house in the day.
Drums like thunder, bass like rain,
One room, three hearts, same refrain.
Spin me slow — then break me fast,
This groove was never meant to last.

Shadows dancing on stretched-out sound,
Tape hiss kissing a vinyl round.
Reverb lingers where silence sleeps,
But breaks still crawl from the ocean deep.

A riddim lover, a house-born soul,
And a junglist heart on a half-speed stroll.
All of us twined in a chordless kiss —
No genre rules, just sonic bliss.

Step like dub, slide like soul,
But that Amen break just stole control.
Feel the heat, then fade to mist —
A deep house dub with a junglist twist…
