Featuring Mike’s first lead vocal on record, an obscure cover from deep in Peter Buck’s record collection, this became a very popular song to play throughout 1986 and 1987, featuring in all known setlists those years. It received the occasional play early in the 1989 tour but was retired after the 2 April show in Atlanta.

That was seemingly the end of the songs stage life, however it was revived one more time in Bolzano, Italy in January 2005. Mike still sings the song occasionally to this day.

Fun fact: Presumably very happy with the royalties he was now earning, song writer Gary Zekley joined the band on stage twice in 1986 - on 21 October in Dekalb, IL, and 6 November in New York to sing the song with the band. Sadly, Gary passed away in 1996.

The version featured here is from 6 November with Gary joining the band to sing the song.
