Let's go back to Goa! We are happy to open our Masters of Psytrance series with a mix by DJ Asherun featuring great music from the mid 90s, the golden years of Goa Trance. DJ Asherun has been DJing and organizing parties in Goa since the mid 90s, and went on to play around the globe, run his own label, Dance N Dust, and was one of the first to spread the Scandinavian Psy-sound.
The new Masters of Psytrance monthly series will feature legendary Psytrance musicians or groups each month and supply you with an introduction to their music, story, history, and more.

This is my opening set for the first pure Goa party held in Ottawa since the late 1990s. It focuses on early Goa and Proto, which includes EBM and Belgian New Beat. The rest of the night features music from the mid 90s through to the early 2ks.

The plan was created out of a desire to retire from a life of crime, as well as the fact that Ricky and Julian discovered that the dope supplied within the Jails was of sub par quality.

In the mid 90s Sweden was introduced to a new type of dance music brought back from the golden beaches of Goa, India by an adventurous group of friends. Parties were held deep in the mystic forests during summer and attracted a fresh new crowd, enthusiastic for these innovative sounds. Among this crowd were two freshly graduated computer engineers who were struck with a profound fascination for this new music. 

This enchantment led to the inception of the now infamous musical unit 'Logic Bomb', formed by Jonas Pettersson and Johan Krafft, in 1998. 

Logic Bomb were set to blow up the scene in 2007 with the album Sonic Algebra.

And unfortunately on our wonderful journey we lose our divine friend Dennis Tapper. We have now finished mourning him and what we can do now is to honor him and let him live forever through the music he founded.

So, get ready to be blasted again... Prepare yourself for 2022!
The fuse is once again lit...
