DJ GOVINDA of the Believe crew is joining us on air again with some goodness for this 3-in-1 feature show presenting Believe Lab’s newest release, the Jungle Calling compilation, and bringing us news of this last summer season and the upcoming one in Goa, topped with a special mix to wet your appetites.

Govinda is an Italian dj and psytrance party organizer. Born in 1986 to parents who had been traveling for many years, he grew up living in Goa experiencing its magic and freaky context from an early age. His first party in 1999 brought a full understanding of the Goa reality with its emphasis on freedom, and manifested his attraction to trance music. He started collecting music and playing it, at first with a Minidisc player and later with CDJs. In 2002, Govinda played his first dj set in the well-known Ninebar in Goa, thus marking the beginning of his dj career. He instantaneously loved the feeling of enjoyment he could provide through music and the palpable interconnection that forms on a dancefloor. After a practice season, he was soon playing in the main legendary party spots in Goa: Discovalley, Paradiso, Primrose, Monkey Valley, Hilltop and many more. In 2005, he was signed to Spun records (the GMS label). Two years later, he went on his first international tour where he played along artists such as GMS, Pixel, Alien Project, Spacecat, Domestic, Perplex and Psysex, in Thailand, Nepal, Goa as well as several European countries. During the Goa season of 2007/2008, Govinda started following a different vibe and looking for a more psychedelic sound that would best fit his personality. At the time, Phatmatix, Digital Talk and Concept were his favorite artists. At the Mountain Madness Festival in Nepal of 2008, he played a set right before Ajja and fell in love with his sound. The meeting also started a connection with Peak Records, which later led to Govinda being signed on as a label dj. While frequently performing at Goan hotspots such as Club Westend, Hilltop, Ninebar and Shivavalley, he created with a group of friends the NightRainbow Project, a Goa-based party organization responsible for more than ten parties in the first season of its existence. The sum of all his experiences finally took the the shape of the organization/label Believe Lab, founded by him and a few other fellas. Today Govinda and Believe Lab have been an important operator in international festivals in Italy, as Blackmoon Festival, Sonica. Believe Lab actively organized its own festival, 7 Chakras, where Govinda and his crew finally have the chance to promote positive messages as environmental awareness and self respect to people through music. His musical journey is not over yet and his dj sets are just fitting more and more any kind of psychedelic dancefloor.

Logic Frequencies is Joao Neves, from Porto - Portugal, he has his headquarters in London, UK.

Besides earlier staged projects such as Rock/Metal, in '96 Joao found a connection with electronic music, starting to DJ trip-hop & Downtempo in local bars and rock clubs, he went further starting fusing styles as world music and chill-out in his sets. 
Eager do discover more and develop new skills, in '97, he was introduced to more rhythmic groovy tunes such as House/Techno/Trance, finding some resemblance with some tunes he was introduced back in '95, before specified  as GOA MUSIC! Found that, he started to self teaching electronic music production using "daw's" like Imageline Fruity Loops, Rebirth and Magix Music Studio.
Quickly he was learning also more and different DJ techniques and tricks with friends being regularly behind the decks at some small trance parties and festivals, from 2002-2005.
In 2006, he left Portugal and moved to Netherlands, where he produced an unreleased album, called Daemoniac Cosmic Sh*t, that he played as Live Act in small event and squat parties in Holland, Belgium and Portugal. Always followed by his fast-paced & dark mood dj sets in 2006/07/08.
After 3 years with less chance to spare time for his music, Joao is back on new tracks and behind the decks since 2011 and in 2012/13 he has been glued between work, studio and playing at squat parties in London.

Djwise Joao's preference sets his influences in dark fast-paced rhytmic psychedelic tunes, naming artists Kerosene Club, Silent Horror, Kindzadza, Stranger, Penta, Kashyyk, not being and extensive list, Joao also plays forestpsy, with a more introverting experience, with slower and deeper rhythms that allow your mind to play with yourself.

Productionwise, Joao can't really says that he sets any influences, different than the ones you can listen in his DJ sets, although he puts his being and feelings in his music, reaching always sort of a twilight mood.

Joao is actually working in a project that he intends to be playing live by mid-summer, and release by the end of the year. Lately he has been swapping ideas with his friend Fabio, where they intend to produce some groovy darkpsy TBA!
