Lauren Squire and Matthew Wilson of @ok-eg are undoubtedly dedicated to our scene.Their multifaceted contributions together and apart as sound engineers, sound designers, installation artists, DJs and producers contributes the extremely well rounded and considered voice they give to the underground dance community. As their OK EG outfit, they create wholly immersive live sets, superbly textural, ambient techno that ensconces all listeners in reach. A superb example above, lifted from Passing Notes episode 46.

When recording this mix, I imagined playing a set at 6AM, at the end of a high intensity rave outside in nature. Going from hazy pre-dawn darkness, to the sun cresting over the horizon and into glorious sparkling sunlight 🌤

A sunrise set for when you can telepathically feel the energy of everyone else on the dance floor. These are the moments I am missing right now, and this mix is dedicated to those luminescent mornings.

These are all my most sacred, emotional, magical tracks in one mix, including many of my favourite ‘90s techno-trance records from a golden time for transcendental dance music.
