The third compilation (of four instalments) in the Various Artists catalogue of Pi Electronics is hitting physical and digital stores around the globe on the 10th of February 2023.

The concept of releasing artists, who performed at π parties (2014-2019) along with musicians who stood close to the label before and during its activity, gathers 18 tracks to the Limitation Compilation.

Music by New York City industrial legend Adam X, Swedish master mind producer Peder Mannerfelt and Irish Techno figure, Eomac (also one half of Lakker) finally takes its place on the label catalogue, along with tracks by the electro side of Italian born producer, Alessandro Adriani and the sound-aesthetic of UK hailing musicians, Slave to Society (formerly AnD ) and Sam KDC.
Berlin artists Alekzandra and Interviews appear with a synth leaning piece, and a hypnotic, broken techno contribution respectively.
You can also meet the sound of Tel Aviv’s finest electro duo TV.OUT on this release, which also includes a rare collaboration track by Ireen Amnes and Gramrcy.
Finally, ‘Limitation’ presents music by Greece affiliated acts of different backgrounds: from the dreamy guitars of Monochromatic Visions and the ambient/drone of Devika, to the broken beats of Zevla and Ønly, as well as the rolling techno of Thanos Hana. Not to mention the textures of noise band Phallucipher, the industrial slo mo techno of Thessaloniki’s, Archaic Intellect, and the noise-techno of label founder, 3.14.

A crossroad of different genres and production styles is offered in the formats of Double Vinyl Sampler, Double CD and digital for this compilation, titled “Limitation”.

Echoes of invisible phantoms and the suitable fluidity - the idea of being trapped in one form, outmatched by circumstances. Bordering on angles that are rarely disturbed -  that it is permeable. An anniversary publication of CONJECTURE on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the artistic activity of the Greek musician. Exactly five years since the vinyl release of "V", (Amek, 2019). The special edition has been expanded to include tracks from the cassette EP "∫V" (with several interesting remixes, including Antichamber, Evitceles, BlakkHarbor, Flint Glass) for the first time released on CD. The edition also includes a new, interesting commentary by Angel Simitchiev, the first publisher of this material, which is an excellent supplement to the publication. This is Conjecture's second release on Zoharum, following their 2021 album "Hydra". Both fans of the project and fans of the sound based on rhythmic, slow, low-bass structures should be interested. On this episode of F.B.I. Pathology Report we're auditory exploring the infamous escapes of Ted Bundy, by the time he was under custody in Colorado, following up with subsequent manhunts.

(Escape 1)  On Tuesday, June 8, 1977, during a recess in the court proceedings at Pitky County Courthouse, the then-accused killer Ted Bundy asked to take some time at a partitioned are at the back of the courtroom which it was being used as law library, (since he had been acting as his own attorney in the local case and by all accounts had been trusted to study in the law library during his on-going and frequent court appearances,) then, when no one was watching, he leaped from an open window of the second floor and escaped custody, (for which its said he practiced on/for, by repeatedly jumping off his prison cell's bed,) following up a 6-day manhunt until his recapture after walking over the top of Aspen mountain, hiding in an unused cabin near Castle Creek, and then taking a car, which led to its accidental recapture (2 policemen were looking for another individual convicted of similar felonies. Suspecting a drunk driver, they pulled over a car to witness the exhausted Ted Bundy wearing sunglasses and a nose bandage as a disguise.)

*Fun Fact: After his first recapture, when asked of how he survived during the manhunt, Bundy mentioned he found a guy camping in the woods of Aspen Mountain with his friends, and in their absence, Bundy stole food and left. The guy camping was no other than actor Kurt Russell (The Thing, Deathproof, Escape From New York), who by going to get a beer, avoided getting into a dangerous confrontation with Bundy.

(Escape 2)  On the dawn of New Year's Eve of 1977-78, while he had filled his bed with blankets, books and papers in order to make it appear like he was sleeping, Bundy, (who also had shockingly managed to lose 11 kilos in 6 days), climbed through to the ventilation ducts, where carved around an opening that already existed in the ceiling of his prison cell (meant for a light fixture that wasn't installed), and managed to crawl through its almost 10 inch hole, 30 feet through the attic of the one-story building, over another cell, the jail kitchen, and then climb down through a large hole in the closet of the jailer's apartment, who wasn't present at that time.

Whilst being added to the list of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives, after escaping the jail for the second time, Bundy boarded a flight to Chicago, took a train to Ann Arbor, Michigan, drove south to Atlanta and got on a bus to Tallahassee, Florida, where he got recaptured and convicted for his shocking crimes, marking him as one of the most notorious criminals & serial killers of the late 20th century.

Volunteer Coroner is the alias of Preston Weippert, co-operator of Trust Collective, an experimental and noise label from Colorado, as well as the drummer for death metal outfit Of Feather And Bone. Volunteer Coroner began as a project in 2018, and has covered lots of sonic ground, from harsh noise to ambient scores. new releases from Volunteer Coroner to be released sometime late 2024.
