Brought up in Quetta, Pakistan, Manāf has been living in Vancouver for the last five years. Music has been a big part of his life since he was a child. His origins contribute to the instrumental elements of his mixes but he was introduced to (and fell in love with!) the organic house, deep house, down-tempo genre after coming to Vancouver and being a part of the music community here and festivals around B.C. Being an engineering student, listening, mixing and creating music puts a different perspective on science, humanity and life for him. He is studying sound and aspires to become a producer, soon. His aim is to create and incorporate melodies that have not been heard before with beats that resonates with everyone to create a musical experience that is a familiar surprise.
