And that's how  mytripismytrip & Nixe got to know each other.
They isolated themselves in the small village of Troja to do what you do in enchanted places: music with depth and depth with music.
And lemon cake.
The master of the house brings keys and fresh linen.
He leaves a note on the kitchen table: "Please (don't) go into the shed!"
A well-meaning joke.
Because the rickety shack contains instruments with which you can knead the most beautiful melodies out of wood and electricity.

What a year!

Just when it felt like there was already enough drama going on for a whole century in a tiny decade, things became worse and more confusing by the hour. A sadly too well known Russian dictator started invading Ukraine in early 2022 and as of the years end is not showing signs of retreat. 

The time to not be political has clearly come to an end and so we set out to empathize with our sisters and brothers that have lost their homes, ripped their lives apart and express our condolence to those that have lost their loved ones. There is very little in our power to help, but with this compilation we try to raise at least a little money to help those in need. 

Since we're a record label and not an NGO we decided to forward 100% of the profits to Blindspots e.V., an organisation dedicated to help distribute material donations and evacuate people from embattled cities. You can read more about their work here:

Directing the music journey is “Morgen” an old friend of the we küyen family, known for his extended narrative dj sets, containing the finest funk selecta and bouncey beats. Often seen as part of one of the grooviest dj bands of the last years in the Berlin scene “Sonne Mond & Mango”. “Morgen” makes his appearance on our family imprint, in the glorious beginning moment of his career. Releasing his first material as a solo artist in our family label makes us feel so incredibly honored and grateful.

The track itself will inspire you to reveal your sexiest dance moves, “Those you practice when you are alone, in front of the mirror and nobody is watching...” Do expect thick textures, and insisting solidness in all that surrounds the engineering of this track, is so fat and groovie...chocolate for our brains.
