i was so focused on finishing new tunes for this year's edition that i arrived late to kater blau, set up as fast as possible and forgot to press record :-) thankfully, with the help of kater's recording i was able to salvage something. i hope you enjoy this frankenstein recreation of that lovely day in berlin. it's mostly new and unreleased music of mine. massive thanks to dear @mira_kater for having me once again.

The inspiration for the EP stems from the idea of an uphill battle, which we all face at some point in our lives. I’ve always been fascinated by the Myth of Sisyphus as a portrayal of this concept. Albert Camus’ essay on it shaped me significantly. The music reflects many of my personal experiences and emotional hardships I’ve faced. Some of them are now stories of the past and others still continue into the present day.

The EP is about finding a glimmer of hope when drenched in despair. Making it above the treeline can feel impossible at the bottom of the hill, but once you’ve arrived, the view is more than worth it. But before you get bored and lost in contemplation, it’s time to do it all over again.

this set was an experiment that we developed for the FOLIE à DEUX event organised by @caleesi & @sarahkreis from @circlesandstones. it's three hours of our own music combined in a live setting with synthesizers, drum machines and so on. we hope you enjoy this experimental fusion as much as we did! it features a bunch of upcoming unreleased music as well. huge thanks to the lovely crowd, artists and our favourite venue in leipzig <3
