I am reposting the most interesting, most creative, and most artistic pieces I can find on Soundcloud, for the sole purpose of having an easily accessible pool of material that I can analyze and discuss with my daughter whose biggest passion in life is music. She has studied the great masters for several years and is now beginning to create her own pieces. The main subjects of her studies (not in any particular order): Amon Düül, Captain Beefheart, Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, David Gilmour, J.S. Bach, Mick and Keith, Terry Riley, Steve Reich, Can, Neu!, Lou Reed, and Patti Smith.

I am scouting Soundcloud for writers and musicians who sound like they too have learned from genuine masters and are now furthering, in their own ways, the greatest of all arts.
