The Prayer : A poem by Bill Manhire is a focus on the many facets of rain. This is an abstract work utilizing the onomatopoeic Chinese Mandarin Language for the voices of rain at the beginning. Developing a collage of language translations in Polish, French, Mandarin, German, Spanish and Portuguese.(Thanks to wonderful friends) The first section of the Poem was used for this purpose. Aping Zhao: Mandarin, Ludmila Sakowski: Polish, Pascale Michel: French, Ulf Uchida: German, Carmen Aliberch: Spanish and Vergilio Lumiere: Portuguese. Peter Williamson & Adair Bruce: Additional whispered voices.
