Unsere Lieblinge Geju sollten uns eigentlich mit einem speziellen Podcast beglücken. Dies musste aber erst Mal auf Eis gelegt werden, denn die beiden Musiker sind momentan sehr gefragt. Zudem werden Sie bald neue Produktionen veröffentlichen, die es in sich haben.

Als 'Entschädigung' erhielten wir ihr Live-Set vom diesjährigen Mayan Warrior Camp. Say what? Ich bin beim Hören nicht mehr aus dem Grinsen herausgekommen und hoffe, dass es euch mindestens genauso gut gefällt, wie mir. Passend zu den letzten Sonnenstrahlen des Jahres 'schwooft' das Set gemächlich und mit einer Menge Leichtigkeit über die auditiven Felder unseres Bewusstseins. Wahrlich zum Verlieben. Hier ist mein Set von der letzten BE HOME Veranstaltung vom 07.02.2019. 
Diese Nacht stand in einem ganz besonders lichvollen Kontext, gewidmet einer überaus liebevollen und starken Seele. "Fly like an eagle spirit bird of freedom" ♥

BE HOME ist ein neues Veranstaltungsformat aus eigenem Hause "Beate Uwe". An jedem ersten und dritten Donnerstag im Monat werden die Tore geöffnet um eine liebliche Reise aus individuellem Klanglandschaften zu kredenzen. Umgarnt von einem stetig wechselnden Mix aus Konzertabend und DJ-Night, beginnt jeder dieser Abende mit einnehmender Livemusik, gefolgt von prickelnden Downtemposets namenhafter DJs mit samt einer beschwingenden Atmosphäre zum wahrhaftigen zu Hause fühlen. Mit am Start waren in jener Nacht die Live Band bzw. das Sänger-Duo ANA & Claudio gefolgt von Kahl & Kæmena, AVEM b2b Arutani, Haunted Water und mir, San Miguel. ♡

Einen riesen Dank & fette Propz gehen an Stefan der mich mit seinen Percussions sowie mit seiner süßen Trompete zart und unaufdringlich begleitete. :)) Unendlich viel Liebe an Jaques und das gesamte Team.. ..und natürlich an all' die wundervollen Seelen welche den Abend mit Ihren Herzen, sowie hüpfenden Wesen zu einem magischen Raum gestalteten. ♥

AfrikaBurn, ... What a magic, I simply cannot describe with words what I experienced on the Spirit Train. It's not only one of the most amazing art car project I have seen so far, but it represents also a fantastic stage for artists to perform on the playa of Afrika Burn with a full dedicated amazing crew members behind it. Thank you Michael, But, Jerry, Jeffrey, and many more new friends to have included me in your family, we are all dream catchers!

I played 3 times on the Spirit Train and this set is my first one, performed on Friday afternoon on the playa. 2 hours of a musical world tour in downtempo, only positive music for positive people. Probably one of the best composition I made so far. Enjoy it!

Coming up next in our anniversary month is a smooth pearl from Istanbul, Turkey: Anatolian Sessions mixed a sensational Ultraviolet for you!

Risen from Istanbul’s underground in 2016, Anatolian Sessions is conquering the scene with his signature style, a dreamful blend of Anatolian music, eclectic and spiritual elements and electronic music. His music caught the interest of imprints such as Akumandra, Art Vibes Music, Buddha-Bar, Pipe & Pochet or Souq Records.

Today the restless producer and DJ has made his clear mark in Istanbul’s deep house scene and started with first international appearances. Definitely one to keep an eye on!

Our single-track release series, 'Freebie', includes one of his productions, in fact, Dolph remixed the original 'Shakana' by Steffen Kirchhoff. So, for this 158th edition we're having again his irresistible production and now getting to know more about his selection, nevertheless, this time with a long session of two hours. Never ever did I ever imagine playing at the Museum of Pop Culture, where those who have set the path of inspiration for me are celebrated -- Prince, The Beatles, Jimi among others. damn. I have little words. Thrilled to have done my first pilot of audio and visuals a complete and epic journey, triggering the senses. Thank you to my badass lady friends at Hashicorp for being an inspiration and for allowing me a space to thrive. Today we welcome a true storyteller behind the Schirmchendrink counter: DERSU honors Schirmchendrink with his sensational cocktail named “Between the Sheets”!

It was many months back when we got in contact and first listened one of DERSU’s sets. This one was called Africa. As fans of beautifully crafted DJ mixes it was clear that we wanted him on the show.  

DERSU is a creative mastermind telling stories trough film, animation, design, and music. His career led him from sports apparel design to art, film and music. He discovered his passion for the latter as creator of Witness This, an art and culture magazine. 

His most recent projects include NightCause, a monthly dance party on the West side of L.A. where 100% of the proceeds are donated to charity, and, Wish You Were Here, a daytime party series in Venice Beach. He also is one half of the duo Peace in Noise.

Between the Sheets covers many emotions and moods, it's deep and taps into a more industrial and minimal berlin sound, with touches of spiritual and also very heart filling anthems near the end. 

You can literally tap into the emotions as it’s reflecting DERSU’s personal journey as of lately: challenging, scary, dark while also being incredibly beautiful, expansive and light.
