DJ SNEAK on Toy Tonics! Yes. It’s happening. 
Another US legend joins the German house label. After Kai Alcé (EP on Toy Tonics in September 2023) and Joe Claussell who did an amazing remix for the label some time ago, now it’s DJ Sneak. 
It makes sense, as Toy Tonics stands for that funky mix of three main influences: original American soul-based house music, the italo disco heritage and the more London or Paris 1990ies wildstyle house sound. DJ Sneak reached out to the label last year, giving his props and showing love for many of Toy Tonics releases, and the guys immediately invited him to join the label with an EP as it's also his sound that is getting so popular again with the younger dance generation. So here it is: 6 tracks (4 on the vinyl) that remind the classic, bumping DJ Sneak sound. Full of energy and emotion. Perfect for the dance floors of today and great to introduce the maestro to the kids who love house now but have never heard about the grandmasters.

"Being invited to do an Upfront mix that would focus on my own music was both flattering and interesting. Rare unreleased tracks, snippets from my forthcoming album, personal favourites from older releases. There are also some pretty wild collaboration tracks (with Ikue Mori, Helado Negro, Flaming Lips, Korallreven) and a remix I was commissioned to do by Radiohead, that may come as a surprise, even to those that know my work. I hope you enjoy."

HERMAN - Accelerate (FREE DL)

It's this experience of being at an age when you're really uncertain of everything and overwhelmed by how much grief and how much horror is happening in this world, overwhelmed by your trauma and your baggage and in many ways you are stunted by this fear or paralysed by it even though you are aware of how much better you have it than the vast majority of others out there. It isolates the idea that we all exist within a framework of fragility and uncertainty. 'Distilled Existence' imagines an alternative reality that exists in stark contrast, where everything is gentle and nothing hurts. This track is by Pulsum. Spoken word poem written and delivered by Ariana Molly.

Paul Rudder (Poetry in Motion, Exploited, Peppermint Jam, Glasgow Underground...) is back on Lazy Days after his debut on the label last year "Sun Rising". This is his first vocal track featuring Segilola (Girls of the Internet, Nuff Pedals...).It also comes with Remixes from South Africa's Jullian Gomes know for his solo work as well as his many collaborations with Atjazz and the beautiful bonus instrumental "Asleep". A deeper and more mature side of his production that I hope we will hear more of in a near future.
