We're big fans of the Cold Tonic crew and they blew the roof off last time they joined us in the shop for an in-store session with label heads Krystal Klear and Maurice Alexander playing alongside Gerd Janson and Philip Laurer. Since their first release we've been strong supporters of their imprint and but their newest release really caught our attention since it features a brand new signing on the flip. "Nothing But A Freak" marks Sandboards musical debut and we can't get enough of it! The emotional House cut combines rattling drums and melancholic chords to comfortably sit underneath a spoken word monologue about the one thing that keeps us moving... We're very excited to see what this the New Zealand duo comes up with next! Keep an eye on these two, we have the feeling they'll be coming up quick! in the meantime, reserve a copy of of their new split release with Krystal Klear ahead of the official release at the end of the month.

Paul Tibbs aka Lone Soldier A DJ/Producer of over 30 yrs..One of the founder members & Resident DJ`s of the renound "Sex,Love & Motion" club nights..that reached its dizzy heights during the mid to late 90`s..It`s home was at "The Soundshaft" in Charing Cross,London..where it ran consecutively every Saturday for 5 yrs..hosting many world renound DJ`s of the time,many of which are still enjoying great success today! The growth of the Brand,captured international interest,and they were soon hosting weekly and monthly events in Paris,Hamburg & Amsterdam under the same guise..as well as starting a self named Label to which Paul had a couple of releases.. specialist radio shows,including Girls FM & Point Blank FM,and currently his 2hr fortnightly show called "The D3EP Lounge" on Grant Nelson's mighty D3ep Radio network.
