‘Until The Morning’ is the third release from Liverpool based Alternative artist Addley.
Recorded and produced by Ben Harper (The Mysterines, The Kairos) at Liverpool’s Iconic studio The Motor Museum (Bring Me The Horizon, The Sherlocks). 
The track explores the challenges faced reaching adulthood, with significance to mental health. 'Until the Morning' is upbeat, loud, and has been largely influenced by the likes of Sam Fender and Florence + the Machine.

Saytr play are an indie-pop outfit known for their electric live shows, in iconic venues (gorilla, broadcast, ebgbs...) And the festival circuit (great escape, ynot, neighbourhood, 110above...) alike. 

Sharing influence with Circa Waves, the strokes, sundara karma and cage the elephant, and recieving playlisting from radio x, Spotify (New Music Friday, Hot New Bands, Indie List) Amazing Radio and bbc introducing, the band have racked up over a million streams on Spotify & a dedicated fanbase. 

Following their hiatus, Saytr Play came back this year with 'The Butterfly Stitches EP', amassing over 150,000 streams, Editorial support on Spotify's Fresh finds and New Music Friday, playlisting on XS Manchester and national radio coverage on Radio X. Off the back of this success, Saytr Play sold out their headline show at Manchester's Deaf Institute a month in advance. 

Saytr play release 'Brother' on 1st September and headline Manchester's Canvas on the 8th September.

Is a very nostalgic song for me. Most songs touch on the subject of love, the only difference here is that I wanted to write a song about how much I love my mates. I wanted to share some of the story’s and memories we lived through in our younger years. Growing up in Moston (Manchester). The good times. The bad times. It’s celebrating he family we choose, in our case our brothers. Life is never plain sailing but I like to think that is about who you are with not where you are. In this industry iv met a lot of privileged people but I honestly wouldn’t change our upbringing for the world. I’m proud of where I’m from & I love my mates so I wrote a song about it. Enjoy.

‘The Wailers’ (released 1st October 2023) is the first single from UK-based singer-songwriter, Man With A Corduroy Heart. 

‘The Wailers’ is a lofi-folk song, layered with jazz guitar and recorded using cassette tapes. It’s a song about becoming a dad and trying to get the baby to sleep through the music of Bob Marley. 

It’s peppered with Marley references, as the opening verse tells:  ‘Your little baby face brings out the sun / Your hand holds my finger and I think Is This Love? / But then something turns and clouds start to rain / And if I think that you’re gonna stop crying I’ll be Waiting In Vain’.

While Man With A Corduroy Heart is a new artist to 2023, the man behind it, Ryan Davies, isn’t new to the scene. By day Ryan is an audio engineer: “Unlike my day-to-day work where artists want perfect and pristine mixes, here I wanted to do one-takes and embrace unwanted noise like hissing and pops, go back to using cassettes and let the song do the work rather than the mix!”

"Roll Me Over" is the final single by "Lonely Gimmick" before the release of their first album/E.P "Stay At Home to Sleep In" at the beginning of next year. 

Centred on the same girl as an earlier single (“Grumpy Days”) "Roll Me Over" reflects on the relationship’s aftermath. LG bares their soul right away, describing the beginning of the end with their opening lines. They place the blame completely on themselves whilst trying to soothe by saying "everything will be alright", "the night sky is full of stars".  Despite the hurt inside LG, their sole concern is to not cause further pain to themselves or anyone. 

This is the first track by Lonely Gimmick to start with vocals only: a bold move.
By focusing on lyrics more than music, LG demonstrates how deeply they feel about the song's meaning.  Whether that feeling originates from a sense of guilt or a search for forgiveness is, like most of LG's music, down to the listener to decide. 

The music accompanying the introduction is comparable to the sound of "King Krule". Following a slow, sober start the song hails back to the dancey indie disco days of LG's youth. The song’s structure could be juxtaposed with "When the sun goes down" by "Arctic Monkeys".  A heavy club kick drum and funky guitar drive the sonic motto of LG's production style "if it doesn't get your head boppin’ it ain't worth nothin".

This new release is almost a sibling to "Grumpy Days" but different enough to show there is still much to be explored in that sound.  A fiery jangly guitar riff and a vocal hook guaranteed to have you singing along within seconds. "Roll Me Over" explodes with energy and compassion, proving that LG is not afraid to take risks.

Lonely Gimmick is the brainchild of Samuel Powell. Formerly an anonymous artist also going by the alter ego Max Pow. Samuel Powell used both these names as pseudonyms to hide their real identity. Recently retiring the "gimmick" of being anonymous as they felt it no longer aligned with the direction their music and image was heading. Lonely Gimmick's work is self-recorded and produced, with the vast majority of the instruments featured on each track played by Sam himself. LG has been building up a following online since 2020 releasing singles such as "Blue Ticked Influencer" and "Grumpy Days". All the while winning praise from online music press outlets such as American Pancake, Obscure Sound and featuring on BBC introducing.
