Besuch im Nichts
Er tritt aus der flirrenden Luft, als hätte der Hof ihn selbst erzeugt. Kein Schritt, nur Präsenz. Der Schatten zuerst, dann die Figur. Alt? Vielleicht. Er trägt das Alter wie Staub auf einem Buchrücken – nicht lesbar, aber spürbar. Er bleibt stehen, dort, wo der Beton am heißesten ist, wo sich meine Gebete in Dampf verwandeln.
„Alles lebt hier“, sagt er, ohne mich anzusehen. „Auch das, was vergessen wurde.“
Ich senke den Schlauch. Die Brause tropft rhythmisch. Fast wie der letzte Takt eines Liedes, das keiner kennt.
„Und du?“ fragt er, mit Blick auf den Kühlschrank, „willst du bleiben oder verdampfen?“
Ich überlege nicht. Ich antworte nicht. Ich gieße weiter. Der Schlauch ist mein Dialog, die Tropfen meine Sprache.
 In dem Moment krabbelt etwas über seine Schuhe. Keine Ameise, sondern eine Idee. Sie zieht Fäden in der Luft – zwischen ihm, mir, dem Wind. Ich sehe, wie er sich setzt. Nicht auf die alte Bank, sondern einfach auf den Boden. Der glühende Hof nimmt ihn auf, wie eine vergessene Nachricht.
„Die anderen nennen dich Zelle B, hab ich gehört“, murmelt er.
Ich nicke kaum merklich. Das ist kein Geheimnis. Das ist ein Zustand.
„Ich war Zelle D“, sagt er, „Damals, als dieses Gelände noch wusste, wofür es gebaut wurde.“
Der Wind reagiert, hebt kurz an. Ich fühle, wie Erinnerungen den Hof durchqueren, wie aus einer anderen Zeit, einer anderen Krankheit.
 Er erzählt nicht viel, aber genug. Von Nächten, in denen die Treppen noch benutzt wurden. Von Kameradschaften aus Eisen, die heute nur noch rosten. Und von seiner Transformation – vom Soldaten zur Zelle. Er sagt das leise, aber die Wände hören mit.
Dann steht er auf. Einfach so. Ohne Abschied. Der Schatten folgt ihm, ein wenig zögerlich.
Ich bleibe. Ich gieße weiter. Und frage mich, ob meine Brause auch irgendwann jemanden zum Denken bringt.
Waldbrandstufe 5 ist keine Warnung mehr – sie ist ein Zustand. Die Luft hat aufgehört, ein Element zu sein; sie ist Fragment, Staub, eine geräuschlose Zerfaserung. Jeder Atemzug fühlt sich an, als atme man vergangenes Leben: morsches Holz, zerschlissene Wurzeln, Erinnerungen in Ascheform. Die Haut reißt nicht, aber sie denkt darüber nach.
 Die Felder, einst weich wie Laken, sind jetzt Kontinente. Goldgelb, brüchig, flimmernd – Afrika ist nicht mehr ein Ort, sondern ein Aggregatzustand, in dem alles verdorrt. Nicht geografisch getrennt, sondern nur ein paar Tage entfernt. Es genügt, dass der Regen sich verpasst, dass der Wind sich falsch entscheidet. Die Grenze ist flüchtig. Und wenn sie fällt, stirbt vieles gleichzeitig.
Zelle B steht im Hof. Nicht krank. Nicht gesund. Nur da. Er denkt nicht über sich nach, sondern über das „Mehr“ des Sterbens. Wie die Masse des Verfalls sich anfühlt, wenn man selbst darin nur ein einziges Ereignis ist. Der Tod ist kollektiv geworden. Nicht dramatisch – dokumentarisch. Und Zelle B darf, als einer von wenigen, darüber nachdenken. Nicht weil er mehr weiß, sondern weil er übrig ist.
 Die Relativität ist sein Begleiter. Was gestern noch Trost war – der schattige Baum, der taufrische Morgen – ist heute Teil des Problems. Der Schatten wird zur Falle, der Morgen zur Warnung. Er begreift nicht, wie schnell Schönheit brennen kann, wie nahe „dort“ plötzlich ist.
 Und doch, mitten in der Hitze, denkt Zelle B: Vielleicht ist Nachdenken schon Widerstand. Vielleicht ist Gießen noch Gebet.
Zelle B steht still. Der Gartenschlauch ruht in seiner Hand wie eine erschöpfte Ader. Die Brause gibt keine Antwort mehr. Der Hof hat aufgehört zu reagieren – jetzt spricht er.
Ein Knacken in der Wand. Ein leises Rieseln aus dem Putz. Dann eine Stimme – nicht laut, nicht menschlich. Rau, spröde, von Steinstaub getragen.
„Du stehst hier wie jemand, der glaubt, dass es noch weitergeht“, sagt der Verfall. „Vielleicht“, antwortet Zelle B. „Vielleicht ist das mein Fehler.“ „Oder deine Hoffnung“, murmelt der Verfall, „die schlimmere Form des Irrtums.“...)
