Monkeytown Records is a record label based in Berlin. Founded by Modeselektor in 2009, it has been a vital international hub for various styles of electronic music on and off the dance floor since the beginning. Still, Monkeytown is not your average ever expanding label on the hunt for the next big thing. At its heart, a tightly knit crew of friends is operating, providing a snug little home base all our artists can rely on.

With a heritage steeped in the early days of rave, parties and MC-ing. Metro has been immersed in and has watched the growth of the drum and bass scene.

His collaborative material alongside Justice has formed the backbone of the recent Modern Urban Jazz (MJAZZ) output in the shape of their 839 LP and subsequent remix LP together with their latest LP Oxymoron.

With many more releases with MJAZZ on the modernists series, he has also released with Pinecone Moonshine, Detuned Transmissions, Hidden Hawaii, Omni Music, Syncopathic.Recordings, Absys Records, Amen Brothers, BlueBerry Musik, Rawganics, Sector 12/12, Dubkraft Records, Lone Foundation and more.

SPACEBOUNCE, a show with love for underground electronic music; everything from experimental electronica to baile funk, deep house, footwork, juke, future lazer bass, tropical glitch, 808 and transnational moombahton. 

The show aims to set focus on the innovative and ever changing underground scene. A focus, which especially takes form in the passion for forward thinking sounds as well as the nerdy and technical side of electronic music. But also a love for that kind of rawness the tropical bass is able to add to the machine produced tunes. 

The show aims to take the listeners onto a journey in the underground world, as we see and experience the scene. That may be the more darker, edgy and more spacey side of it - a place where the heavy bassline, edgy vocals and spacey synths rule your speakers. A place for inspiration and future sounds.

Mass Appeal Records is the label division of the burgeoning media group and creative agency, Mass Appeal. Birthed in 2014 alongside music legend Nasir “Nas” Jones, the label solidified itself as a powerful platform that shines light on DIY artists passionately upholding the foundational pillars of Hip Hop. Merging the classic with the contemporary, at Mass Appeal Records, we share the very same enthusiasm that our artists possess. We are as devoted to promoting the music, as our artists are to creating it. We pridefully collaborate and share real music, from real people.
