Hailing from Midlands UK, his journey began not in the studio but on the dancefloor—as a devoted raver absorbing the pulse of underground house music. It wasn’t long before he realized that his place wasn’t just in the crowd but behind the decks, curating experiences for others. His transition from enthusiast to artist was a natural evolution, fueled by his relentless pursuit of rhythm, melody, and atmosphere.

He quickly earned his first DJ residency before taking a bold step to establish his event brand, PRO-JECT, and launching a warehouse club in his hometown. This momentum propelled him onto the global stage, earning residencies at world-renowned festivals such as Hideout, Snowbombing, Defected, and The Warehouse Project, as well as becoming a World Tour Artist for the Ministry of Sound. His journey extended beyond the UK, with international residencies at La Mar Beach Club in Doha and a pivotal role as Head of Music and Event Manager at Ibiza Rocks.

Inspired by Marsh and Ben Böhmer, he values their approach of letting the music speak for itself, resonating with global audiences in its purest form. Musically, Jay’s sound is a seamless fusion of organic, melodic, and progressive house—a style that encapsulates both emotion and energy. Lovely Laura has taken the world by storm with her incredible live sax / house music shows in Ibiza, whilst simultaneously gaining millions of internet streams that have captured the world’s attention.
After main stage performances at super venues and festivals such as Tomorrowland, Café Mambo, Ministry of Sound, Ibiza Rocks, Creamfields & Pacha , Laura’s star prowess still continues to rise.
Regularly performing with the Ulster Orchestra at Lush Classical to a 10,000 strong crowd in Belfast arena, and sell out performances wherever she goes, Lovely Laura continues to be one of the worlds most in demand saxophonists.
Alongside her DJ husband Ben Santiago, they have become one of dance music’s revered and most loved duos. With residencies under their belt for some of the biggest clubbing brands in the world, the husband & wife combined talent has proven to be a compelling union with them always delivering a world class show.
2022 will see the dynamic duo returning once again to Ibiza Rocks for their bi-weekly residency, alongside some surprise performances at Café Mambo PLUS regularly flying back to perform at numerous festivals & clubs in the UK.
This coupled with some exciting studio projects and new tracks planned for release, it looks to be another busy and productive year ahead for Lovely Laura.
