The Collective Liberation EP is a call to action for decolonisation, revolution, and communal healing to reimagine the ways that humans relate to themselves, to one another, and to the Earth beyond a paradigm of domination, extraction, and exploitation. This EP sets the vibrational stage for building a world based on solidarity, reciprocity, and self-determination. Honouring the roots of our pre-colonial ancestors, while honouring and tangibly supporting Indigenous People who resist colonisation and embody the definition of resilience today, leads us to a future where all peoples and communities thrive. Mystic Wolf’s music is the soundtrack for the revolution in our hearts and out in the world.


From Aotearoa (New Zealand), to Palestine, to Turtle Island (North America) and Abya Yala/Pindorama (South America), Collective Liberation uses music as the messenger to liberate the global community from the chains of colonization. Indigenous People reclaiming their land through the Land Back Movement is a fundamental component of this liberatory process. Decolonization is not only a movement to restore Indigenous rights but also serves as an example and examination of how to create systems of reciprocity and balance in relation to the environment across the world. The most effective way to protect ecosystems and the planet is to restore Indigenous sovereignty of their land. The framework for how humans treat and relate to each other translates to how we relate to the Earth. Capitalism, patriarchy, and white supremacy are systems of domination, extraction, and exploitation, which translates to a relationship of domination, extraction, and exploitation of the planet causing environmental and climate destruction. To heal the planet, we must heal and transform ourselves and social systems.


Collective Liberation is a project that materially supports Indigenous self-determination. The Guarani people have been reclaiming their land in southern Brazil in the face of violence from the agribusiness and ranching industries. Agami Records has been a partner of these Guarani communities to support these land reclamation efforts, as part of the Agami SEEDS of Light Campaigns. It’s an honor to have Mystic Wolf’s second EP, Collective Liberation, join this campaign and partner with the Guarani people. This EP is a part of Agami Records SEED 4: Humans and Spirituality Campaign that shines a light on cultural biodiversity and exploring cultures that promote health, sustainability, and regeneration on all levels.


Agami Records and Mystic Wolf serve as a bridge between the conscious music and spiritual communities and collective liberation movement building. We are spiritual beings having a physical experience and the language of the physical world is action. We have a responsibility as spiritual beings in the conscious music scene to center a collective liberation framework in our practice. It is the highest vibration to confront genocide and capitalist dehumanization. Unity is achieved through action that exemplifies solidarity.

Terranigma is one of the most emotional games I've ever played, something rare during the 16-bit era of video games. This is a very obscure RPG title that was never released in the US. It is the spiritual successor to Illusion of Gaia, and shares similar themes. This arrangement is focused just on the character of Elle. More than just a love interest that gives the protagonist motivation, Elle's character gets woven throughout the storyline in many interesting ways. What I like about the game is how so much is communicated just through the imagery, the music, and the heavy hidden implications of events. When you slowly realize the truth behind your quest, you can't help but feel empathy for everyone involved.

I kept the original tune and wrapped around it using two other pieces of music from the soundtrack. This would technically make it a medley, but I refrain from using that term because the structure is different. Elle's theme is repeated at the end with a full orchestral pallete. I used a lot of sweeping strings to increase the emotional mood of the piece.

Longwalkshortdock esentially started the first time Dave King heard gritty electronic music in early eighties videogames. Strongly influenced by these sounds and melodys, Dave started recording and looping segments as a child. He also got a taste for sampling and recording; taping segments of his piano practice to fool his parents into thinking he was practicing in the other room when he was really playing nintendo (note : actually practicing might have served him better). Currently, a veteran of sound design and electronic music production for well over a decade, Longwalkshortdock's music has stepped into a genre of its own. Heavily influnced by early 80s video game music, metal and rock music, found-sound and vintage analog synthesis, he stacks layers of melody in his tracks until they implode and reform. Heavy drums and aggresive synths join forces with rolling grooves and melodic lead lines to create a wide variety of slamming dance floor originals. Lesser known fact : Not limited to dance music, LWSD's music crosses into many territories. His vast catalogue of hundreds of songs dives into ambient, IDM, electro, acid, house, big beat, indie rock, drones, electronica and down tempo. Dave holds two degrees from the Art Institute of Burnaby for Music Recording and Production. Playing songs and remixes he wrote and produced, Longwalkshortdock performs live PA with live vocals, synthesizers, drum machines, guitar, effects, toys, computers and even some of his own strobes and lighting. Know for his increadably "enthusiastic" performances, longwalkshortdock creates an undeniable stage presence and visceral experience at a show. Break through performances at Soundwave 2009 and Shambhala 2010 have made LWSD an artist to watch out for. He was even recently featured on the legendary Annie Nightingales pod cast on BBC radio 1 as a result of a review received about his "smashing" Shambhala 2011 performance. Longwalkshortdock has performed live with the likes of Phil Western (Download, Skinny Puppy, Kone) and opened for talented artists like, MSTRKRFT, Opiuo, Junkie XL, Vibesquad, Alex Patterson (The Orb), Mimosa, Adam Freeland, Shout out out out out and Matt the Alien too name a few. Always working to enhance and upgrade the LWSD live experience Dave is currently in the process of collaborating with veteran of visual wizardry Tim Hill of RIM Visuals. Using at least 10 projectors loaded with custom content, the live LWSD experience is nothing short of a full venue transformation into a etherial and immersive light cube of doom! Longwalkshortdocks second self-released record entitled "Bigger Fish Frying" follows up on his debut album "Casual Tea" with many signs of progress and promise. Final point of note : Did you know they found him in a cave on the moon? Thats what i heard...
