Former DJ now a father of three, just recently found out that creating music with headphones somehow magically silences all of the usual daily commotion. 😁 Now seriously... Italian-born DJ and sound designer, Looka Barbi has built his name across Ibiza’s most iconic day-to-night settings. Active since 2014, he has played practically every sun-drenched, high-vibe venue on the island — from the legendary Las Dalias Night Market, where he held a strong Tuesday residency for two consecutive summers, to Akasha, its acclaimed indoor club.

His journey spans multiple continents: winters between Ibiza and Europe, long stays in Chile (where he returns in February 2025 for new shows), and a solid creative connection with the Philippines from his early years. In 2023–24 he also performed in Kenya, with shows in both November and February.

Looka is a former resident of Experimental Beach (2016–2023) and long-time curator of Palo Santo’s winter Sofa Sessions. During summer he leads Sofa_Chingón, an official party of Las Dalias, one of Ibiza’s most historic and culturally influential venues. He is also shaping the sound of LUUM, the island’s new downtempo hotspot where he plays regularly year-round.

From 2016 to 2023, Looka served as the touring DJ for Don Papa Rum’s Sugarlandia events, flying multiple times a week across Italy, Spain, Germany and the UK. This experience established him as a reliable, travel-ready performer able to deliver consistent energy across different countries and audiences.

Musically, Looka is eclectic, emotional and highly versatile: warm daytime downtempo, organic and tribal grooves, cinematic textures, and a night-time evolution that moves from jackin’ house to hypnotic minimal — always super groovy and dance-driven.
