For our next episode, we're very excited to bring you this journey filled with little gems from our friends K+E . They once met on a sunny day in the marshes of East London in 2014 and became friends over their shared love of aubergines. Little did they know that they also shared an interest in dark glitchy sounds, vibrant colours and strong flavours. With music that makes their heads spin hypnotically and their bodies roll slowly to relentless basses, they embarked on a sonic journey together that took them to fine establishments and luscious green fields. Their very stationary boat is currently moored at the dried-up Camberwell Riviera from which they run a monthly show on Aaja Radio.  We're really happy that they were willing to share their magic with us <3

When I arrived at expression stage on Sunday afternoon there was nothing really happening. Some people in the hot tub, some chilling, a little music was playing while the main stage blasted out psytrance loudly.

So I started playing patiently and after one hour on this nearly empty stage a shift happened. Supported by my crew of the Temple Collective, in the end the stage was so crowded and the party so nice, that I got invited to play one hour longer than originally planned. Thanks @elbatos for having me!

So here it is: a delicate mix of my (so far) favorite 2024 and some more tracks.

Italian born, DJ Looka Barbi lives an island gypsy life, spending summers in Ibiza, Spain and winters in Siargao in the Philippines. DJing since 2014, Looka's eclectic and colourful music repertoire has him in demand around the world, including regular gigs for Don Papa at its popular Sugarlandia Mask parties (2016-2023). After few years having his own weekly radio show with PlayaSol Ibiza (20-22)and a residency at Ibiza’s popular Experimental Beach club (16-23) is now current resident at Las Dalias Night Market (Every Tuesday) and current resident at Palo Santo (sofa session -all year round) as well.
Autumn 2024 will host Sofa_chingon parties at Palo Santo + guests.
