This town feels like a war zone between the wanna be rappers, cool kids, and the drug dealers. There's girls in bikinis posting pictures and saying take me back to summer.
So take up your arms, get in the car, and we'll meet you at the basketball courts across from the pool where we were made out to be something more than a bummer

I left the house around 9 am you know I'm gonna be late to school again, but honestly I can't find a point. 
So I got on 73 and drove to a place where nobody loves me. My home away from home, a place where I'm content in being alone.

Take me back to middle school so maybe I could be myself again without feeling abandoned, or thinking constantly about death.
This view is depressing, and the weather doesn't help. The whole street is sleeping and I'm not feeling myself.

And I've been looking through every memory
Card that I find the idea's just too tempting
For pictures of you before you up and left me
I swear that this town has never felt more empty
It's been a while and this place has forgotten
The color of your skin at the turn of autumn
The hate for your arms I didn't know you were plotting
