Corvus Mae (Meta Hoepfner-Homme) is a singer/songwriter/arranger/multi-instrumentalist who thrives in a world of harmonies, shades, and textures, 
having grown up as a violinist playing in orchestras and chamber groups, and thus exploring the many voices and tones of string instruments, as well as vocals in choirs.  

Avid in poetry and happiest being whimsical/ironic, lyric-writing is a craft she has honed since childhood, and enjoys blending light with darkness.

She has released one Corvus Mae album called "Black Eyed Susy and the Coyote Love Songs" and a few eps.

Once you’re able to get past the beguiling voice, you discover her quietly profound, deceptively simple lyrics. Epyllion weaves an incredibly rich tapestry of a nearly spectral world where a pixie-like young woman discovers love and death. Magical.

The track [Around Again- Island Mix] builds on a dense guitar sound and Manning's silky smooth vocal delivery that eventually climaxes with a distorted second vocal track and some super minimal drums. Sonic indicators from Julie Doiron and slowcore pioneers like Low are definitely at play, but this song stands on its own and points to potentially great things on LOOM's debut.
