Artist Looney Lunatic (Luna van der Laan) gets to her inner core of being through hardcore kicks and her voice. She lets you experience this during her DJ & MC live performance in which she combines her passion for hardcore and the poetry from spoken word

SPOKEN CORE!

She speaks about always keep on hakken no matter what, fantasies about her ultime gabberdream and shares about raving to stay alive.

Hard in sound, soft in core.

She is currently working on the release of her first EP in which she is collaborating with HKU IMT student Sina Willemse for the artistic visual translations of her Lunatic mind.

Last year she performed at the reopening of the historical Domtoren in Utrecht, played at parties such as Hard Attack, Gabbernacht and played for two nights in a row at the afterparty camping stage of festival Dominator 2024.

Sounds from the post-Soviet sphere blend with beats crafted by women and queer artists, setting the tone for Nelly’s sets and paving the way for her to play, connect, and share.
