But whoever did it, Thank you for making the perfect picture that I needed for this song. :) Ok, so my daughter @dori-the-dork is a massive YTTD fan and I was messing around on Garage Band with loops to make a song and she goes, "Whoa! Stop! That's from the YTTD game!! Oh my God!" So we started going thru the loops and found a bunch of them that were used for the game's soundtrack. So I wanted to work on the track & make the whole thing together but she decided she wanted to be *air quotes* independent and do her own thing...no, I'm NOT bitter. Heh heh...anywho, so we decided instead to make it a bit of a competition so to speak, I mean we weren't REALLY competing but more like two chefs get the same ingredients, let see what each one makes, y'know? :) So this is my humble offering. I had a lot of fun with it and dug a little deeper into effects and automation, etc. I enjoyed it and am learning new stuff all the time. I’m trying to help my son how to put a song together on garageband. But most of the time he just wants to layer like 60 loops on top of each other, so that you can barely distinguish sounds from each other. So in an attempt to try and work thru the process with him, I took the pieces he had picked out and turned them into a song. He liked it but still says he thinks his is “awesome sounding”. 😆 Trying to teach him certain basics of song structure, etc without squashing his creativity and ability to think outside the box. Eventually i’ll have him put up his version which is actually more on the Industrial side so far. Very heavy. Mainly because it’s seriously like 30 loops all layered on top of each other…trying to explain to him the conceot of cacophonies as well, haha but whatevs. 😆😉

I’ve loved music all my life, all genres (except most latin & most big band jazz), but I had always been too afraid to make any of my own. So I started off playing around with loops on Garage Band and it allowed me to ease into the “game” without technically making any music of my own. It also allowed me to learn placement and editing and a lot of other crucial things I needed to learn. Now, two years later, I’ve learned a lot and I'm having so much fun! I'm even making original content now! 😱 My first official album is releasing December 1st, 2023. And my next goal is to start learning on Ableton. That’s next level. ;) Anyway, thanks for listening!
