"Too Soon" is a recording from Toronto-based musician Majo, whose Sideline 4 EP was released mid-2018. Loop Linguist collaborated with Majo by preserving the emotion of the original vocals, looping and layering them with punchy percussive elements and chilled-out synths. The end result is a spacey, mantra-like track that builds up to a dreamy crescendo.

Loop Linguist (he/they) is a Toronto-based producer and DJ. Their sound can be described as urban eclectic, drawing up the sounds of R&B, Hip Hop, electronica, chillout, Lo-Fi, and worldbeat. Loop Linguist grew up listening to 90s and 2000s hip hop and R&B - artists like Mos Def, DJ Premier, Jill Scott, and Aaliyah were on frequent rotation. Years later, their interest expanded to the realm of electronic music, which is the genre that sparked their passion for production. In the 2010s, Loop Linguist played numerous events across Toronto, and began playing shows internationally. Today Loop Linguist blends their love of R&B and conscious hip hop with electronic and chillout vibes, creating a signature smooth sound that transcends the typical genre boundaries.
