CALYN is back with a feel good track entitled “kinda love.”  The idealistic love song is inspired by Etta James’ “Sunday Kind of Love” and CALYN gives the Blues Artist a nod by quoting her in the opening line.  Creatively dreamy lyrics tell the story of a desirous infatuation and CALYN’s warm caramelized vocals are the perfect complement to the up beat R+B track containing smooth + saucy undertones.

Loop Linguist grew up listening to 90s and 2000s hip hop and R&B - artists like Mos Def, DJ Premier, Jill Scott, and Aaliyah were on frequent rotation. Years later, their interest expanded to the realm of electronic music, which is the genre that sparked their passion for production. In the 2010s, Loop Linguist played numerous events across Toronto, and began playing shows internationally.
