Boots On The Ground - Feet In The Air

My first attempt at a live track on the 0-Coast, which I bought off a sweet old dude yesterday... hence the name of this first published jam.

The 0-Coast is clocking to the PO-32 and the Microbrute is providing Pitch CV to 0-Coast which I literally for this one just use the pitch wheel and that's it. 

The way the patch is structured the clock tempo from the 0-Coast doesn't match where I feel the beat so getting the PO-32 to sync with it meant having to live record the drums rather than program them. 

It seemed to work OK but in future I'll be looking to sync the 0-Coast to other gear, like the Deluge, rather than having the 0-Coast provide the main clock.

Anyway, it's all a bit of fun.

End Of Financial Year Blowout

Live improv of me jamming my Craftsynth controlled by the Keystep which is syncing the PO-32 Tonic for drums.

My Keystep started misbehaving to the point of breaking completely possibly so glad I managed to salvage this jam out of it before it died completely.

This is my first flight with the full battlerig.

The Keystep is going into the Midi-IN on the Beatstep Pro for sequencing basslines, melodies and improvised soloing.

The Beatstep Pro is controlling the 0-Coast and the Microvolt 3900 as well as sequencing drums on the Deluge.

Some light compression, EQ and reverb added in Audacity after the fact.

Battlerig Test Flight Sierra Alpha Zero One

My 100th track I decided to come full circle and return to the OP-Z which is certainly the most neglected of my children.

Couldn't get my OP-Z to mount in Windows 10 so I recorded it through the Avalanche Run into the H6. Unfortunately I didn't have a splitter for the OP-Z to get stereo out so it's mono to the pedal then stereo out from there so it still has a nice spatialisation.

This is my 100th song that I have posted as Loop Linndrum.

Some are hidden from public view because they are too cringe now for me to have them in public view but it is my 100th track in 5 months since I started back in March. 

An output of 20 tunes a month on average is not bad at all.

Lullaby For Little Steves

This is the Matriarch running through an Avalanche Run V2 in stereo.

I was going to name it "The Mother Of All Earthquakes", referring to both the Matriarch and Earthquaker pedal, but then I decided to google that and the top hit was Zechariah 14:3,4 which contains the line:

"And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives"

The music itself feels more like a landscape piece until the earthquake at the end so this title felt a lot more poignant.

The Empress Zoia joined the family today. I found an inspiring preset to work with then let the Moog Matriarch do the rest.

Like a lot of my music it has timbral inspiration from indigenous Australian music especially when bringing formant sounds into play.

I was lucky enough to spend time in Marree when I was in school and it was a really inspiring place I hope to return to some day.
