Mihalis Safras is the Greek DJ/producer sensation that has – over the course of an illustrious career – forged a name for himself as one of the most hard-working and consistently brilliant electronic artists in the world. An Ibiza DJAward-winner, Mihalis is one of the most charted tech house artist of all time on Beatport and Resident Advisor, releasing on a slew of leading labels including Relief, Hot Creations, Moon Harbour and of course his own Material imprint. A ferociously dedicated producer and vinyl-championing DJ, Mihalis is a true electronic warrior. 

Significant milestones in his career include remixing Marco Carola – one of the very few artists every to have officially done so – with his interpretation of Play It Loud hitting Beatport top spot after only a few days and going on to be one of the biggest records of 2016. More recently, Mihalis has formed a unique bond with dance music pioneer Green Velvet. To date they have collaborated on no fewer than seven records – including Discogirl, Microwave and Speak To Me – with their eight due for release late 2019. 

In addition to being a real DJs DJ – there are few other tech house artists charted as regularly by their peers as Mihalis – he’s firm fan favourite, to date having clocked up an impressive ten million streams on Spotify, and regularly packing clubs from London to Ibiza and beyond. 

Currently working on his third studio album and touring the global festival circuit at EDC, Creamfields, BPM and more, Mihalis’s will continue to pursue his love of musical creation and performance for the foreseeable future. For the sake of ravers around the world, long may his passion continue.

New Zealand born and raised Kimmi Aroha De La Haye aka De La Haye, has been one of the most hardworking and energetic members of the Brisbane bass scene, since moving to Australia in 2001. With track selection, mixing, and a smile that sets any dancefloor ablaze, De La Haye is a regularly booked DJ, not to mention one of the scene's leading promoters. Before discovering jungle in ’96, Kimi's early musical influences ranged from soul, funk, reggae and hiphop, to rock, punk and metal. Perhaps in this, we find the blueprint for her versatility. Whether its dub or ragga vibes, driving techstep darkness, complex drum choppage, or rolling liquid sounds, De La Haye's drum’n’bass sets offer something for all tastes.

All of this has not gone unnoticed by other promoters, as De La Haye continues to amass an impressive DJ resume playing all around Australia, New Zealand and worldwide. In 2009 she was invited by legendary Metalheadz DJ Storm to play her curated night at the renowned Sun & Bass Festival in Sardinia Italy, having since been invited back to play 11 times between 2009-2024.
She has played numerous times at Intrigue Music Bristol & London UK, Cross Club in Prague Czech, the infamous Cheeky Monday in Amsterdam, the 2010 Paradise in Bali Festival, Hong Kong and regularly in NZ including Bass Frontiers & Sandwiches in Wellington & Bassfreaks Christchurch.

From being a regular at local events (e.g. Biscuit Factory, Massive, SAFE, Planet of the Breaks, 8Ball Audio, Rewind, Hex/Sub Sbass Sunny Coast, 420 Sound in Byron Bay, Kinphonics, Liquid Sessions, Rude Bwoyz, Phat Albeats, BassCreepz, Praxis, Dub Thugs, Adicts, Shifty, Shucka, Proppa, Sting-Land, Junkyard Sessions, Rum Jungle), De la Haye's cross-genre appeal has also seen her feature at many mixed genre raves, doofs and festivals (e.g. Defqon.1 (Sydney), Stereosonic, Future Music, Esoteric (VIC), Mushroom Valley (N-QLD), Elements Festival, Earth Frequency, Love Camp, Home Gathering, Earthcore, Parachute Music Festival (NZ), ReAnimator, Mayhem, System 6, Island Vibe, BBQ Breaks, Shhh, Deliverance, Manifest, Blah Blah Blah, Dragonflight, Amalgarythymz, Expression Sessions, Behind The Pines, Rabbits Eat Lettuce & Bohemian Beatfreaks, Jungle Love, Sub Sbass Inna Jungle, Subtropics (Magnetic Island), Wavecult (Adelaide), Outer Depths). 2022 saw her feature at renowned UK-Boiler Room style event ‘Keep Hush’ in Melbourne for an all-vinyl jungle set and soon after was invited to join ‘The Brisbane Drum & B4zzz Show’ on 4ZZZ 102.1FM as a monthly radio host.

What cannot be understated is De La Haye’s massive contribution to promoting in the Brisbane broken-beat community over the past 21 years. In 2002 she co-promoted the weekly Freestyle event & radio show at Red Room - Uni of Qld, in 2003 formed the famous femme DJ crew 'Junglettes’, in 2004 began the dub and jungle nights 'Ragga'd' and 'Offshoots of Reggae’, and in 2005 started the hard n dark DnB & Dubstep night 'Rukus' alongside SpeakerWrath as well as running a highly successful monthly Moonbar residency between 2006-2010 hosting many international acts. Through both collaborations with other local crews and on her own, De La Haye’s events have hosted most of the international DnB acts that have come through Brisbane since. Recent years saw her team up with Kosha D running the popular monthly Junkyard Sessions night for the past decade, as well as handling DNB bookings for Rum Jungle at Sub Rosa, artist agency bookings and assisting with Planet of the Breaks at La La Land. This incredible and often solo effort has been a driving force and integral part in the growth of the Brisbane scene.

De La Haye is one busy Junglette, also managing the Brizbass event mailing list and local broken-beat website that she founded in September 2008, and regularly playing hiphop/reggae, funk/soul, house/disco and garage sets as well, having acquired numerous residencies at Rumpus Room, Rum Jungle, Mr Percival’s, Felon’s, Riverbar, Paddo, Bruce, Loft, Solbar, Kerbside, Brew, Soleil to name a few. However, jungle remains her true passion with her main focus for 2023 being to lend more time to production, a long time goal, and curating the new Spread Love & Basslines video podcast on ‘neurodiversity in dnb/music’ set to release soon. Given the accomplishments and talent shown so far, where she will go from here no one can predict.

DJ STIVS - Mashing up the dance with a badman blend of jungle, raggatek and breakcore. A true giant of the underground dance scene, Stivs is a founding member of the infamous Life4Land Sound as well as several independent record labels. As one third of bass-terrorist trio The D.S.C., Stivs has been steadily hacking away at the rave scene for over a decade, lumping speakers across muddy fields, inhabiting warehouses for one night and one night only, and playing dirty ragga-jungle, breakcore and raggatek to jumping party people across the globe, entertaining ravers at clubs, Teknivals, raves and festivals since the year 2000.

DJ Stivs, AKA Finn O’Rourke, started producing in 2003 and, having been raised on amens since his early teens, soon developed a particular talent for hardcore, ragga and dancehall-influenced jungle. Learning his way round Logic and Ableton alongside his Life4Land brethren, he followed closely in the footsteps of legends like Remarc, Lemon D and Ray Keith and was soon applying cutting-edge production techniques to the sounds of his youth, pioneering a brand-new breed of old school and staking his claim to a chapter in the Jungle book..

He brings these skills to the D.S.C’s table in abundance, creating soundclash-inspired dubstep, jungle and techno alongside fellow Life4Land founders Ed Cox and Scion. They regularly work with top ragga vocalists like Daddy Freddy, Murray Man, Demolition Man and Deadly Hunter, as well as collaborating with producers such as Freddy Frog, Ghost, M.D.S., Kelvine 373 and Scamp. On the back of his UK successes, Stivs has toured all over Europe, appearing in France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Lithuania, as well as executing a quick sweep of the southern hemisphere taking in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Tokyo. In 2010 Stivs and Junglefever co-founded Bomba Cut Recordings, a label dedicated to extreme soundclash-based ragga-junglecore mashups where they can really flex some amen muscle, releasing the dirtiest rasclart beats they can possibly cut to vinyl. However, at the other end of the spectrum he is also heavily involved with Born On Road, a vocally-driven bass-music label unfettered by tempo or style restrictions, where artists are free to explore musical boundaries and span genres including dancehall, dubstep, bashment, breakbeat, reggae and Jungle. Established in 2013 Born On Road is intent on pushing raw emerging talent alongside industry heavyweights such as MC Navigator, David Boomah, Buggsy and Eva Lazarus. He has also programmed festival stages and dance arenas as well as starting his own internet radio station, Site B Radio, where he DJs alongside his Life4Land stablemates as well as an ever-expanding roster of guest DJs. Despite all this extra-curricular activity Stivs is still mashing up the dance week-in week-out in his hometown of Bristol and beyond, gigging regularly all over the UK and Europe. Whether it’s an all-vinyl journey through the jungle ages or an up to-the minute digital set trialling his freshest productions on a crowd, Stivs never fails to create a euphoric auditory journey through bass music and amen breaks. Stivs currently divides his time between his label-related obligations, smacking dancefloors across the UK and Europe, and pushing his production skills to the limit .
