Sanftes Rauschen an der Klippe. In ihrem Ohr. Sie steht – nur mit einem Mantel bekleidet – weit entfernt vom Klippenrand, in Sicherheit. Sie hört die Wellen in der Ferne brechen. Doch der Drang in ihr, das Rauschen stärker zu spüren, setzt sie in Bewegung. Schon während sie läuft, wird das Rauschen lauter… und ihr immer wärmer. Das Wasser peitscht gegen den Fels, ihr ist heiß. Ein erster Tropfen fällt auf ihren Körper und scheint sofort zu verdampfen. Sie schließt die Augen, lässt den Mantel in der unendlichen Hitze fallen und gibt sich restlos dem Rauschen und Peitschen der Flut hin. Überall ist Wasser. Der Mantel, nach dem sie sich kurz zuvor noch so gesehnt hat, existiert für sie nicht mehr: Es gibt nur noch sie und dieses unfassbar dichte Rauschen, das sie vollkommen vereinnahmt und beinahe bedrohlich umhüllt.

The sea’s faint noise atop the cliff. In her ear. She stands far away from the edge, safely, clad only in a cloak, listening to the breakers in the distance. Following their call, she moves closer to the edge. The noise grows louder... and she grows warmer. The water whips against the rock, she is hot. The first drop to hit her seems to evaporate almost instantly. She closes her eyes, drops the cloak in this endless heat and surrenders completely to the roar and lashing of the tide. Water everywhere, the cloak she longed for only moments ago is gone from her mind. There is only her and this inconceivably dense roar, swallowing her whole and enveloping her almost threateningly.

Born in 1995 in Vilalba (Galicia), a region in the northwest of Spain, Diego Amido aka Oxygeno is a young and emerging artist from the Spanish techno scene.

Through the name Oxygeno, different moods, sensations and experiences that hide behind him come to light. As a result, his music is full of textures, with hypnotic rhythms that send minds into endless trips. 

On the productions' side, Oxygeno has released music on labels like Axis, Soma, Mord, Edit Select or his own label Lost Verses. His music has been widely played all around the globe, by well respected artists such as DVS1, Dave Clarke, Paula Temple, Slam, Blawan, Richie Hawtin and many more.

His sets are characterised by a mix of mesmerizing sounds and more raw, groovy, straight and banging techno. He has played in clubs like Melkweg (Amsterdam), Gare (Porto), or Cassette and Utopia (Madrid).

Raroh, is a born and living in Warsaw producer and live-performer focused on the hypnotic, misty and intense techno side. His main musical goal is to tell an engaging story in which the listener can completely immerse and get lost. Under the influence of local events with electronic music, he began, at a young age, to discover new electronic sounds, rhythms and sounds, which resulted in his productions. In his music, Raroh talks about things that happened, in different places and at different times, creating new constellations and combining them into one, coherent story.

Raroh to urodzony i żyjący w Warszawie producent i live-performer skupiony na hipnotycznej, mglistej i intensywnej stronie techno. Jego głównym muzycznym celem jest opowiedzenie wciągającej historii, w której słuchacz może się zupełnie zanurzyć i zagubić. Pod wpływem lokalnych warszawskich imprez z muzyką elektroniczną, rozpoczął, w młodym wieku, odkrywanie nowych elektronicznych brzmień, rytmów i dźwięków, czego owocem są jego produkcje. Raroh is an artist focused on deep, foggy and also hard side of techno mixed with ambient and experimental electronic music. Under the influence of Warsaw's local parties, at a young age he began to discover new electronic rhythms and sounds, what resulted in his productions.

December last year he released his first 12'' vinyl split record with Głós on Unknown Timeline Records called "The Perfect Moment In Time-Space Continuum". He also contributed to the One Instrument series with a dark ambient track, which was digitally released last year.

Two month ago his two tracks appeared on "The Book Of Electronic Music" - tape release on Delayed Arrivals Records.

Closing the chapter that 'Music For Sleepovers' and 'Music For The Morning After' opened, this mix gives an insight into what kind of music @prayforglos got inspired by while creating last year's aforementioned two Ambient albums.

Presented in the form of a fake radio show, the selection of personal R'n'B favourites might look odd at first glance; those with an open mind though will recognise the similarity in atmosphere and will be given an insight into how music from a seemingly devoid genre can influence another one.

"I honestly don't remember how I got into this kind of music. Some YouTube algorithm sorcery might have lead to this and if anyone would have told me I'd one day be into R'n'B  when I was still into Rock, I would have told them to fuck off. But you know what I like about it? The same thing that I like about novels by Charles Bukowski and Henry Miller: they're brutally honest."

John Cage once said, he liked beautiful melodies telling him terrible things. "It's the same way with these songs", @prayforglos explains, "you have those soft, beautiful voices singing about the most terrible things. It's highly sexual, lyrically often abusive and very dark. And the protagonists don't dress in black robes for show like Goth and Metal dudes do, they dress in high fashion. I feel a specific fascination for the dark and ugly with this, if you know what I mean. But there's also a lot of acknoledgment for guilt underneath the surface. It's complex."

Further devotion to R'n'B are less likely for @prayforglos, though. "I'm an Electronic music artist. This was an interesting excursion, but it mainly served as some sort of background check. I'm really proud of 'Music For Sleepovers' and 'Music For The Morning After' as a double-pack and wanted to give a little more insight on where it's coming from. But this chapter is now closed."

"Ich kann mich noch gut daran erinnern, wie ich früher mit meinen Freundinnen zusammen Lieblingslieder aus dem Radio auf Kassetten aufgenommen habe. Das scheinbar ewige Warten darauf, dass ein Lied gespielt wird, hat dafür gesorgt, dass die Musik, die wir dann in Kassettenform in den Händen hielten, einen immensen Stellenwert bei uns eingenommen hat. Auch wenn sich mittlerweile in technischer Hinsicht viel getan hat, empfinde ich den Ansatz unvoreingenommen nach Musik zu suchen und diese nur aufgrund des Sounds zu konsumieren, als einen schönen. Damals wie heute haben wir nicht daran gedacht, dass wir ein Lied gerade besonders aufgrund des Geschlechts des Interpreten gut finden und deshalb hören. Als dann vor ein paar Jahren die elektronische Musik hinzukam und mein Horizont sowohl musikalisch als auch durch die der „Szene“ angehörigen Menschen erweitert wurde, konnte ich einen ganz neuen Zugang zur Musik erhalten und meine Vorlieben kennenlernen. 
Ich finde es bereichernd, dass es Plattformen gibt, die zwanglos und ohne konstruierte Grenzen auskommen und einen Kosmos/Safe-Space schaffen, in dem man sich wohlfühlt, weil man einander unterstützen kann und gerade deshalb zusammenkommt, weil man Lust auf Gegensätze und Unterschiede hat, vor dem Hintergrund, dass gewisse unumstößliche Werte wie zum Beispiel Solidarität und Gemeinschaft den Rahmen dafür bilden."
