About the release: "The CRTTR-CLB series carries the vision of exploring different ways of challenging the notion of club music. For each release we want to bring together four artists who have somehow given us a glitchy feeling on the dancefloor, while digging or in any other listening situation. We’ll be releasing a new track every friday."

CRTTR is a Bern-based collective founded in 2021. Their focus lays on experimentation and exploration in a broad field. "We strive to shed light on different niches, be it through releases, events, radio shows, sonic works, visual art or whatever seems interesting to us at the moment," says the label.

"U See B" is a two-track micro EP born from the transatlantic synergy between Montréal-native Slow Tech activist SIM and Paris-based Wajang co-founder Siu Mata. Blending low-slung grooves with high-octane rhythms, the release distills the raw energy and sonic chemistry that sparked during their impromptu encounter.

The title track, “U See B”, sonically transposes the electric atmosphere of the recording session—punctuated by a dramatic dry lightning storm that unfolded above the French countryside—into a charged, pulsating experience designed to stir the notion of rhythm and tempo.

The B-Side, “Erotiks 101”, opens a window into a more seductive sonic terrain. Driven by warped percussion, fragmented vocal textures, and Trance aesthetics,, it invites the listener into a playful and provocative headspace—where tension meets release on the dancefloor.

Simultaneously spacious and hard-hitting, U See B channels the raw spontaneity of two artists meeting in the right place at the right time. A bold addition to the Wajang catalog, and a signal of what happens when grooves travel across borders.

Cimarrón is an Argentine producer and DJ, part of a new generation exploring hybrid forms of electronic music from the South. In this set, he explores latin club music, with a pop feel, featuring a special guest: Buenos Aires based pop singer TERRA.

☀️ Oblivess – Ojos de sol

Ojos de sol fue el primer track que nació en este proceso, hace casi dos años o más. Sin embargo, por razones emocionales, no pude terminarlo hasta ahora. Su creación surgió desde un lugar de afecto profundo, inspirado en el aire y en los ojos de quien motivó esta historia. Lo que comenzó como una carta de amor sonora, terminó transformándose en una despedida.

Musicalmente, es un track dinámico y emocionalmente cargado. Las melodías y los pads funcionan como una contención suave, como si alguien sostuviera tu rostro contra su pecho. Pero dentro de esa calidez, hay un pulso de inestabilidad: una energía que oscila entre la paz más profunda y la sobrecarga emocional. Es una representación del amor inestable, de ese vaivén donde lo tierno y lo caótico coexisten.

Ojos de sol también habla del exceso. Del calor que al principio reconforta, pero que con el tiempo puede quemar. De cómo algo aparentemente bello puede volverse asfixiante. De cómo el amor, incluso cuando es real, no siempre basta.

Este track marca el inicio emocional del EP. Y aunque cierre el relato en el orden del disco, es el punto de partida de todo lo que vino después. Una pieza que encapsula el deseo, la entrega y el dolor de dejar ir. Porque a veces, el sol que ilumina también es el mismo que te obliga a cerrar los ojos.

This week's mix is from one of our very favourite DJs; P-Hocto. Here is his description of it... "This is the live recording of my set from the Loose Lips Winter Rave. I finished up the night after the phenomenal Dave Monolith, so I knew it was a great chance to flex things a bit further in a hectic electro direction than I usually do. I really enjoy bouncing back and forth between broken electroid beats and straight up 4/4 techno, it's such a simple but effective contrast. I also brought a small selection of old school jungle records for a laugh. Having never played any jungle out before, I didn't actually think they'd end up on the platters, but five in the morning ended up being just the right moment. I went for it with a surprise switch up and was delighted and relieved when the crowd stepped it up a notch in response. I won't be forgetting that one any time soon!"

Dublin born DJ and producer Peadar Ó Brádaigh, AKA P-Hocto, had been circling the Irish electronic scene for a number of years but is now to be found across the pond in London city. A vinyl fanatic, Peadar separates himself from the masses by playing a killer selection of new and old tracks across the various styles of techno, electro and bass heavy music that most appeal to him. Dark and deep, weird and wonky, glitched out and sublime or simply pounding, one thing is for sure, you won’t find any filler here.

A regular DJ at Jerome Hill's infamous "Don't" nights, Peadar has supported some big names in the underground Techno and Bass circuits, both at home and abroad. Artists like: Neil Landstrumm, Paul Birken, Ancient Methods, Lakker, King Cannibal and Sunil Sharpe to name but a handful. He recently completed a degree in Sonic Arts at Brunel University and is now refocusing himself on his own productions once again.
