Fragile X is the also the founder and owner of the Bricolage record label in his home city of Glasgow.

#11 Fizzy Juice with Inara ft. Fragile X

As we edge nearer to the #500 finale, our new mix series comes from Seb Theodossiadis, aka Bugs Groove, who runs the club night OST in Manchester and Leeds.

Since launching the party in 2021 he’s hosted some of his favourite artists including Nick Höppner, Tama Sumo, nd_baumecker, Leah Floyeurs, JS Zeiter, Ploy, Paleman & Levon Vincent.

He feels most at home at Soup where he holds a bar residency as well as DJing annually at Dimensions.

“This mix was intended to be a snapshot of what you might expect me to play in a club setting peak-time. It’s comprised of newer and older cuts, some of my own edits and some classics. There’s a healthy amount of music which is hard to pinhole into a singular genre of electronic music: all with a feel of rave.”

En.Vee is a DJ that instantly stood out from first hearing her play. With impeccable selections always drawing for the deepest darkest Jungle, Darkside, Hardcore, Techno, Darkside, Electro & Tribecore to the table. 

En.Vee is resident for some of the scene’s top events including Dissonance Bristol & Jungle Syndicate, whilst having played across London's squat scene and at the legendary Phonox London for Coco Bryce’s curated event. A live representation of UK underground sounds.

I recorded a live jam of all brand new and improvised music using a studio set up of various synths, drone modulars, loops, a piano, a tenori-on and a wee bit of guitar with a delay pedal board and loop station.  
I also used some various field recordings I recorded that morning.  
I recorded 30 minutes of improv, then went outside for a cigarette and recorded some of the birds and nature in the area. Thought it would be nice to use that in the middle of the mix and then another 25 minutes of improv :)
