Ruffhouse Industries resident Tymotica returns to the label with ‘Incoherent Death Experience Reworks’, featuring two new VIP mixes of tracks from his EP of the same name.

Tymotica’s Incoherent Death Experience EP was originally released in 2020 and saw the Berlin-based producer exploring a range of sounds across the bass and breaks spectrum, picking up wide-reaching DJ support and a 9/10 review in DJ Mag.

Revisiting two tracks from the EP for this new Reworks release, Tymotica flips ‘Incoherent Death Experience’ into a skippy, UK garage-influenced roller on his new Iron Mix, followed by ‘Prox System’ (Swift Mix), which ramps up the tempo of the original track into a modern jungle remix.

Clad (Rinse France) inaugurates GRID Records, summoning a world-class album compilation from close friends and affiliates. Mastered by Krikor Kouchian (L.I.E.S/Editions Gravats) and with art direction by E-Unity (TEMET/Oscilla Sound), 'Improvisations' allows twelve different producers to explore and create in different directions that they're not typically known for. Clad declares; "I made the compilation only with instinct, without too much reflection. All of the tracks are really different in style but linked by this same idea and endeavour to go beyond the limits of musical genres".

Featuring E-Unity, Kevin Murf, C.Coiffure, NRLSD, Doline, MISH, Lastrack, Théo Muller, Solotape, Realitycheck, EXCPT and Troy Gunner, the record establishes a tweaked-out relationship with improvisational sound-design from the outset and throughout. Themes of hypnotism and experimental club-focused excursions are entrenched within the framework, with deadly blows of percussion, and stereo-imaging coexisting in a gorgeous realm of love-injected artistic expression.

A lot of music in the current climate can seem to be executed by overthinking and overpolishing. However, 'Improvisations' turns this on its head, providing a beautifully human feel across twelve, unique excerpts.

Sweat Equity NYC marks its second entry into the world of wax with a super-heated four tracker from Vancouver’s acid queen, Overland. Adding another chapter to her growing discography, ‘Void Function’ is an undeniably propulsive addition to Overland’s ever-growing rave oeuvre.

Before relocating to Vancouver, Overland sharpened her skills in the snowy expanses of Alberta. A tireless DJ and promoter, she's hosted a score of all-nighters and club events across the city, making her mark as an enthusiastic booster of a vibrant scene.

Her tracks embody her DJ sets, a frenetic fusion of classic acid techno with fresh rave sensibilities, both razor-sharp and mind-expanding in the same breath. Her ability to connect scenes and sounds from across the globe found fertile soil quickly, and releases followed on Los Angeles-based Helpful Music and Lisbon’s finest purveyor of peak-time heaters, Naive.

Void Function is a tenacious step forward in the evolution of the banger, moving from up front scorchers to more meditative grooves that still rip.
Lead track "NASA" is a blistering alkaline thumper that melts straight into “Rain,” a melodic groover suitable for the first rays of morning light through warehouse windows. "Doubtful" returns to slammer country, bursting onto the B-side with swells of white noise and an utterly relentless rhythm that sets up the closing tune “Seasons,” which pulls dancers through a swirling torrent of hazy, flickering sonics, and a subtle sense of swing that serves as a perfect tool for winding the floor up, or cooling it down.

Void Function is a bold transmission from a singular artist and a certified a scorcher with room to spare for inter-dimensional dancefloor reveries.

Voici déjà quelques mois qu'elle circule. Une mystérieuse mixtape qui se passe de la main à la main dans les rues mal famées et immatérielles du web. Il se dit que c'est la première d'une série à venir chez Santé Records.
Il s'agit là d'une compilation de titres aux tendances Acid/Expérimentaux que nous propose le label qui, pour composer cette sélection au poil, à envoyé ses émissaires battre la campagne française, poussant même l'exploration des territoires jusqu'en Italie !
Cette compilation est un mélange de têtes connues proches de Santé Records ou
aillant déjà collaboré avec le label, mais aussi de talents cachés dans l'ombre
de leur home-studio n'aillant que trop rarement dévoilé leurs talents au grand
jour.
Une compilation qu'elle compile sacrément bien !
