The overall tempo stays the same although the piece expands, consistently evolving, becoming almost outer-worldly. As a standalone track, it commands the attention of anyone listening and would be a great anthem for clubs and festivals. It might appeal to game designers as well.

Jawoo, known off-stage as Marinko Vujević, is a Bosnian DJ and producer whose roots run deep in the underground techno scene. Having previously impressed with releases on Black Hole, Pacha Recordings, and his own label, Stanch Records, Jawoo's productions have been championed by global heavyweights like Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, and Cristian Varela. His style effortlessly marries minimalistic rhythms with deep, melodic undertones, crafting immersive dancefloor journeys.

"Cocoon" is a dynamic contribution to Loose Records' Limited series, further solidifying the label’s reputation as a platform for cutting-edge minimal sounds.

The EP closes with the darker, deeper title track, The Negotiator, showcasing pulsating basslines and subtle melodic details that perfectly embody Jawoo's sophisticated approach to minimal deep tech.

Italian label Loose Records was established by Mario Manganelli and Rino Cerrone (who also run Rilis and Unrilis) in 2006 as an outlet for inventive, underground techno with a fresh perspective. 
Rino himself has long been a bastion of the Neapolitan techno scene, whilst Mario, too, has been promoting nights, running clubs and unearthing techno talents ever since the 1990s. 
Together the pair has a great understanding and has managed to mix up established talents with bright new comers, making the label a go to place for fans of proper techno.  Releasing both club ready EPs and full length artist albums in vinyl and digital format.
