Loot Recordings proudly presents our debut release from New York City area DJ and producer Kered.

The "Find My Way Back" EP includes the original mix plus remixes from Stefano Testa and Cactus Twisters. The original mix is a deep groover that builds tension on the dance floor. Driven by a throbbing bass line and ethereal background sounds, it all comes together with a twisted vocal hook and a Spanish style guitar melody.

The Stefano Testa "Over The Ocean" remix is driven by a booming kick, choppy percussion and elements of the vocal sprinkled throughout that is all tied together by a melodic analog synth melody.

The Cactus Twisters remix is a growling monster that's meant for the big moments. With a pumping techno rhythm, low swinging bass line and its dark edge, this one will keep the dance floor heaving and begging for more.

Italian techno talent Stiv Hey turns out a remix that's massive. With a galloping bass line, menacing synth stabs, explosive build ups of percussion and effects in all the right places, this one is a true dance floor bomb that freaks out the key elements of the original with a Stiv Hey twist.

Rounding out the EP is "Break The Entrance Lady", a laid back groover with a hypnotic bass line and downright twisted vocal samples. On display here is Kiraly's trademark sound design which focuses on intricate effects to keep listeners grooving and intrigued throughout the entire track.

This month, we're joined by one of Melbourne’s most respected selectors, Cara Murphy — a standout figure in Australia’s underground scene.

Cara has held residencies at iconic venues and club nights like Onesixone and Doesn’t Matter Melbourne. She has made regular appearances at beloved spots such as Revolver Upstairs, The Emerson, and Storyville, as well as supported international heavyweights including Sasha, Monkey Safari, Mees Salomé, and Low Steppa. Cara has also performed on stages for Defected and Glitterbox tours, plus the global platform of Amsterdam Dance Event 2023.

Awarded Best DJ at the 2023 Music Victoria Awards, Cara recently stepped into production with her debut track “Dusk” on Valiant Records — a boutique underground house imprint run by Tom Evans and Jacob Malmo, under the Vicious label group.

This mix is pure journey. Hypnotic, cinematic, and built for deep listening.  

We are beyond honoured to have Cara on for this very special mix.

The New Year ushers in new music and Loot Recordings returns with its sixth release from the incredibly talented Charles Blossfeldt that includes remixes from Moosefly, Machino and Pablow.

Making his debut on Loot Recordings, Charles Blossfeldt unleashes an EP that perfectly blends the deep sounds of euphoric melodies and deep techno that keep the listener intrigued and yearning for more. The title track “Sober” is a wonderful story of studio wizardry that comes together with a composition of warm overtones, analog synths and mystery.

Moosefly deliver a remix that’s hauntingly wonderful in all the right places, as the track slowly builds tension with rising synths, blips, beeps, delays and madness that all make perfect sense. Mexico’s Machino releases the robots with his interpretation, delivering a sonic force that charges onward and upward that’s sure to drive dance floors into a state of frenzy with its pulsing bass line and raw edge.

“The Cure” sees the brilliance of Charles Blossfeldt shine again with a deep techno burner. The track is a symphonic journey of intergalactic melodies that’s woven together by intricate layers of crisp drums and a grinding rhythm that brings you deep inside his twisted, wonderful world.

Italy’s Pablow jacks things up with a techno monster that is powered by a relentless, pounding kick that marches on and on until finally pausing for the melodies and synths to work their dance floor magic.
