If 2009 was the year that saw Mat Zo hallmarked as one to watch out for, then 2010 is the year we’ve seen him go from strength to strength as we marvel at the growing level of maturity and production craft of this unstoppable talent. And as was the case with ’24 Hours’ and the breathtaking dynamics of ‘The End’, on this latest double A-side we again find his keen ear for a poignant melody leading the way. 
‘Near The End’ was showcased on Anjunabeats Worldwide: 02 and it’s not difficult to see why we fell in love with it instantly; a moody, progressive slow burner that swirls together a gorgeous blend of evocative pads and tear-inducing pianos, this is the Mat Zo sound at its most emotive.

Spacious, epic and sweeping encapsulates the sound of ‘Land Of The Free’, a tough space-age synth-progger that takes you on a winding journey through its dazzling array of enigmatic yet melodic delights. Is there any stopping Mat Zo right now? On this evidence, clearly not.

After a brief period away Colorize stalwart Matt Fax returns to the label with his eclectic 'Going Down / Hyperspace' EP!

Starting off the EP with 'Going Down', Matt wastes no time in capturing our attention with a warm, yet heavy, bass & percussion induced groove. The tune approaches its core as guitar, synthesizer and vocal elements are brought together to culminate in a fantastic drop!

The second track 'Hyperspace' is a real deep dance-floor stomper. Steady drum grooves and a fantastic tag-team of bass sounds build and break down with subtle melodies as company, resulting in non-stop head bobbing throughout!
