Lost & Found deliver the long-awaited, highly anticipated remix package for Khen's 'One Day Of Independence' LP this week. It's a stacked line-up on the release with label boss Guy J himself, Lehar, Luca Bachetti, Termoment and rising star Patrice Baumel all turning in their own takes on cuts from the album. Baumel, who's seized major attention with releases on the likes of Kompakt and Anjunadeep over the last year, provides a sleek, smooth, synth-laden roller for the occasion, taking the original track up a notch in intensity. We're very excited to present the remix in full premiere today :)

In the words of the Amsterdam-based producer himself, Baumel explained "I consider Khen one of the most promising new artists in electronic dance music and was blown away by his album. The beauty of “Land of Goshen” lies in his melodic arrangement. I wanted the remix to respect the original and just gave it the club treatment it needed to beam people into outer space.”

The  release  opens  with  the  title  track,  The  Mask  Of  Sanity;  Over  8  minutes  of  haunting  synth work and expertly compiled drums that build to a bubbling crescendo of that Reset Robot sound we all know and adore. Track two is Bil'am's Donkey; A harder more-to-the-point weapon with pounding  drums  that  doesn't  mess  around.  Next  up  is Paradise  Lost;  This  is  more  of  a  driving affair with a house twist. Expect to hear this one on repeat across dancefloors this summer. The release  closes  with Oak  Ridge  Capsule;  Mechanical  yet  groovy,  moody  but  danceable,  this  is exactly why we love what Reset Robot encapsulates so much.

Returning to Proton Music after a successful 2019, Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat present a bright new vision with "Beyond the Future, Vol. 1".

From Cali, south-west of the Bogota capital, Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat have been pivotal in advancing their country's underground dance movement. Rising out of the Cauca Valley, the duo has been responsible for a swathe of high-profile music. Both successful artists in the own rights, Sanclemente has amassed over 450 production credits since a debut for Suite 7 Records in 2013, going on to feature on some of the most prestigious independent imprints including Massive Harmony Records, Univack and Nick Warren's "Balance Presents the Soundgarden" in late 2018. A relative newcomer to the underground scene, Dabeat's solo work has seen him feature for BeatFreak Recordings, Pollen Flug Records and Freegrant Music.

Joining forces, the collaborative pairing has consistently hit the headlines with their distinctive brand of progressive house, lighting up the likes of Mango Alley, Hope and UV. January 2019 saw a Proton Music debut in the shape of the outstanding "Spiral Patterns", further enhanced by a remix from Brazilian maestro, Andre Sobota. A remix for Peter Makto & Gregory S's "Purple Rain" was another notable highlight in May as Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat return with the first in a series of EPs that follow in the footsteps laid by Erdi Irmak and Rick Pier O'Neil, as they start out "Beyond the Future".

Opener, "Zemula", is full of rhythmic prowess as a strong percussive groove lays the perfect foundation for rippling arpeggios and siren synth lead to course through the 8-min offering. Ambient effects and sweeping risers add additional texture to a wonderful club floor-filler. The complementary tracks of "Feline" and "Ausar" delight with their languorous rhythmic patterns as grooved plucks and clever bassline sequences add rich syncopation. Unhurried lead lines ripple across proceedings to create flowing melodic patterns while atmospheric vocal phrases add depth. The driving kick and off-beat percussion of "Asgard" provides immediate dancefloor character, tempered by stratified layers of arpeggiated sequences and rising pad progressions that reach a crescendo in a tension-fuelled breakdown. Rhythm and melody then combine once more in the third movement to maximum effect.

With its seething atmosphere, "Aerology", is a mesmerising collage of grooved bassline and melodic motif that provide a superb counterweight to intelligently programmed percussion. Adding to the aural melange a relentless sequence builds post-breakdown to strong effect before "Magma" spews forth with bristling power and dancefloor heat. Flowing hypnotically through arpeggiated phrase, a counterpoint chord progression provides weight before a grooved melodic line opens up in the second half, creating a dynamic and powerful climax.

Six tracks of the highest order see Kamilo Sanclemente securing the present while looking firmly "Beyond the Future".

Barcelona-based imprint Vondreib Records readies the long overdue second release, Transonàmbul,  from Catalan producer and Hivern Discs regular Priorat. The four tracker is provided with two original takes, namely Sonàmbul and Transgènic, coming with a remix for each take. While  Sonàmbul is taken care of by Velmonda, it's Hivern Discs mainstay Marc Piñol who gets his hands on the already dance floor oriented Transgènic and – without being too anticipatory – delivers a remix that is so subtle charming its listeners that one would not realize how deeply you are soaked into Piñol's continuous psychedelic musical cosmos until the track lets go. With Acid-ish bleeps taking the lead and intriguing pan-flute like synths as well as 'water dropping from the stalagmites of a limestone cave'-sounds all alternating throughout the track, Transgènic's organic and natural vibe flatters the dark dance floor in the most humble yet decently sophisticated manner and let's you imagine yourself moving to the bass line in the spheres of cosmic grandeur with closed eyes. 

Priorat's EP Transonàmbul will be released on Vondreib Records on July 13th, 2020.

The second release in Poker Flat’s remix competition, celebrating 20 years of the label. This time, we get three stellar versions of Tim Engelhardt’s First Contact, which has been making waves since it first dropped in March of this year.

First up is the Okayshades Remix, brought to you by Robin Brink from Cape Town, South Africa. Brink’s signature sound is a mix of house, techno and down-tempo, and here he finds an elegant balance between firing up a dancefloor and making a thoughtful, emotional rework.

Next up is the Jacme remix, courtesy of Christophe Robert from Toulouse, France. Jacme started creating his own music in 2001, and has recently been collaborating with the likes of Connaisseur Recordings, AEON, Suah, and Outer Space Oasis. His rework is a classy, synth heavy refix, with a driving, restless vibe.

Next up Maxie König brings her considerable talents to the table with a sublime remix. Hailing from the Rhine-Neckar region, Maxie got her first residency at the age of 18, and had gone on from strength to strength since then. Her rework is a moody, deep version with elegant touches - sure to do the damage on the floor.

The official release features the best 3 mixes while 7 more are exclusively released on Poker Flat's bandcamp page featuring remixes from Mario Bianco from Naples (Italy) who already released an arrway of EPs on labels like roundans, Uncover, Sunclock, Elements, Tom Liar aka Thomas Sever from Leiden (Netherlands) who just released an EP on Songspire, Alex Hövelmann from Cologne (Germany) who has already a string of EPs to his name, most recently on Fenestra and is involved in events and festivals like the Garden Eden Festival in Aachen, Nawed Khan aka Browncoat from Mumbai (India) who already released on Submerge, Click, Od One Out and more, Oliver Quinian aka Mentat from London, UK who already released tracks and remixes with Traum Schallplatten or Amber, Leandro Silva from Luanda (Angola) now living in Portugal who makes his debut as Denker here and already a bunch of EPs including a coop with Mr. V and finally the Miami native producer Kamadev who's latest EP dropped on Mirror Walk.
