Jim Galloway is a Canadian recording artist who is no stranger to the center stage. Born in Saskatchewan, Jim’s striking passion and talent for singing, song writing, and guitar has caught the attention and hearts of many people across Canada and beyond. At the beginning of his musical career, Jim was a show-stopping front man for the rock band White Heat. Catching the attention of CBS Records in 1990, Jim and his band were subsequently signed by CBS and went on to record their debut album, We’ve Never Heard of You Either. The Album was recorded in New York City with music Producer Mark Berry, noted for his production work with popular names such as Duran Duran, David Bowie, and Cool and the Gang. The album went on to sell more than 130,000 copies 
Canada and worldwide, gaining the band considerable notoriety. Their singles Rollin’ With the Thunder, Crazy For You, and Listen Closely Now all charted as top 20 hits on the Canadian Music Billboard Charts. White Heat gave worldwide listeners an unforgettable musical experience, touring across Canada and the United States with music videos featured on Much Music TV.  Today, this popular album is still being played on college radio and You Tube stations across Canada, the US and Europe.

The musical endeavours of White Heat were only the beginning of Jim’s remarkable music career. Jim continues to write, record music, and master the art of guitar playing. In 2015, Jim released his solo album, Good Times, charting at #3 on Earshot NCRA 92.5 FM Top 10. Beyond this, Good Times has received CBC airplay across Canada and the album’s debut song Free was selected for Canadian Musician Radio 2015 Fall Artist Spotlight. The Good Times album has received considerable attention, Amanda Hather from Canadian Beats described it as “this album is sure to please. Good Times 5/5”. Toronto Cashbox Music Magazine’s Sandy Graham commented, “Jim Galloway is certainly no stranger to the concert stage or the recording industry. From the opening song I was hooked!”. The album, along with Jim’s talent, has captivated fans across Canada yet again. 

It is safe to say that Jim has shared his passion for music with the world. According to Jim, “the most exciting thing is to listen to the evolution of the song. The most amazing thing is to sit back when it is complete, listen and contemplate the journey”. Jim’s musical journey is most certainly far from over.
