Wassko is an Arab R&B artist from Haifa, crafting emotionally charged music that lives where vulnerability meets atmosphere. Blending haunting melodies with cinematic production and soul-baring lyrics, his sound speaks to the quiet battles we fight — with love, identity, and our own minds.

Born in 2000, Wassko started writing music at fifteen, using songwriting as a way to process everything he couldn’t say out loud. After releasing his first single in 2022, he built a growing catalog that moves between genres, but always stays rooted in feeling. From the moody tones of Figured You’d Care to the raw energy of THEO, his work earned recognition in his hometown and slowly began to travel beyond it — resonating with anyone who’s ever felt a little too much.

Now, with THEO marking the end of his hip-hop era, Wassko enters a new chapter — one defined by stripped-down R&B, emotional clarity, and storytelling that cuts deep. His upcoming album is his most personal yet: a collection of songs about disconnection, romantic confusion, isolation, and trying to find meaning in a world that rarely makes sense.

Rising up out of Brazil’s hotbed of formidable talent, Mochakk (AKA Pedro Maia) embodies a level of passion and drive that has placed him in a league of his own. His insatiable hunger for knowledge means he has a broad palette to draw from, channelling his deep well of influences into his vibrant creative output. As anyone who has witnessed him in action will attest, Pedro wears his heart on his sleeve, often expressing his honest love for music in an endearingly physical manner. His skills as a selector have led to bookings at globally renowned clubs, including a residency at the iconic DC-10, while his productions encapsulate his diverse sonic identity. A natural born entertainer, who regularly devours music, history and cultural information by the truckload, Mochakk is a unique artist whose energy and enthusiasm are contagious.

Mochakk’s achievements in 2023 alone demonstrate how influential and respected he has become, with his online fanbase growing to over 3.5 million followers across his socials. He sold out a 5,000-capacity show for leading broadcaster Cercle at the Plaza de España in Seville (the set has almost 4 million views), played over 160 shows in 29 countries, and joined the family at DC-10 as a resident. On that note, Mochakk also released the huge single ‘Jealous’ with Circoloco Records, alongside his killer remixes of Groove Armada’s ‘Superstylin’’ and Diplo’s ‘Express Yourself’. 2023 also saw the launch of his Tricks And Tracks event series, merging his love of skateboarding with electronic music for a unique party. Elsewhere, his Mochakk Calling events have sold out at every worldwide location so far. At the end of 2023 he was named by both Amazon Music and Spotify Mint as Artist to Watch in 2024, wrapping up a hugely successful 2023 with the promise of an even bigger year ahead...
