Originally out of Baltimore, Maryland, Jubei is an up and coming rapper living in Aurora, Colorado. He was influenced by the culture in Washington, D.C., Honolulu, Hawaii, Newark, New Jersey, and Jacksonville, Florida. Coming from a military family, he has been all over the country, absorbing the music scene from each region.  Until his father joined the military in 1995, he lived in various projects throughout the D.M.V. area. When living in Hawaii, Jubei started writing rap lyrics. He joined numerous spoken word and poetry groups throughout middle school. When he moved to Aurora, Colorado, he had his sights set on going into the engineering field. His freshman year of college at Howard University would open the door for him to begin actually recording and producing his own music. He also helped found a rap collective called Ticato House. Jubei is currently unsigned and has recorded several mixtapes under the name of Reign The MC and Kid Overdo$e. Though still very new, he displays the swagger and mic skills of a veteran.
