One of the staple forces behind Termanology’s ST. Da Squad, DJ Deadeye has been waiting patiently for his turn in the spotlight. Many already know the Puerto Rican-born, Massachusetts-raised Deadeye (born Dustin Hernandez) as rapper Term’s DJ, but he’s spent the last six years quietly building an impressive resume that goes far beyond just his inner circle. Led by singles from Freddie Foxxx, Panchi (NYG’Z) & Big Shug (“Had It Comin’”) and Slaine, Esoteric, Krumbsnatcha & Ea$y Money (“Livin’ Lost”), Deadeye delivers a disc full of raw, exciting hip-hop that, despite its many contributors, remains an album with his own distinctive stamp on it. The CD comes housed in a handsome 6 panel digipak with a fold out poster featuring original artwork by painter Andrew Royce Fournier. A trio of rugged rhymers: Sean Price, the Brooklyn-bred lyricist that's quick to knock your block off Jailhouse Rock style; Diabolic, the aggressive Suffolk County rhyme sayer that spits with reckless abandon; and Vinnie Paz, the misanthropic Philly native who stays ready for battle, all make up the foundation for "Game Time," the latest release from Diabolic's forthcoming 'Fightin Words' LP, that's set to drop 9/16. Although Diabolic might not be a household name just yet, his accolades are worth mentioning: earning a spot on Billboard's Hip Hop and R&B charts, as well as receiving the HHUG Best Album of the Year Award with his debut 'LP, Liar & a Thief,' are quite the accomplishments.
